I had the same experience...the weight use to come right off and than the last time I tried..I beat myself to death with exercise and watched my fat and calorie intact....and I finally come to the conclusion that my age was playing a factor..I have always heard that the older you get the harder it is to take weight off....I believe it now...... ...it can be very discouraging to say the least..but I kept telling myself every little bit was better than nothing...and slowly but surly the weight came off.....

they do have weight products on the market now that is suppose to help boost older peoples weight loss..I haven't tried any so I don't know how effective they are...but if I ever go on a diet again..I will probably use one of these products....

I know how disgusting and discouraging it can be ...but don't give up...and keep in mind the slower you take the weight off the better you will be in the long run...it has been proven that losing weight to fast will only make it come back faster and possible double what you had lost...so the slower off the slower back on....but if I was you..I would check into the products I mentioned above.....they might help......

pick up a 5 or 10 pound weight at the gym and visualize that weight coming off holding the weight in your hands helps bring home just how heavy even 5 pounds of extra fat can be

this should be a lifestyle change. a combination of diet and exercise. i dont really do weight watchers so i recommend going for dark leafy greens and bright colored veggies and fruits. also eat almonds, pecans and walnuts without added salt or whatever. i like to put them in a salad. go for lean beef, chicken and fish or eat beans and lentils for protein. drink as much water as you can throughout the day as well.

for exercise i would recommend walking or swimming laps. both are full body workouts. do them for more than 30 minutes at a time and pace yourself so its enjoyable and you dont kill yourself. do weight training moderately so you strengthen muscles and dont bulk up.

if you can gradually get into doing this everyday then it will show a change. if not, consult your doctor for referals to nutritionists and fitness experts.
