So...I've looked in all the obvious places. Around the exterior of the home, inside the home - even in closets. When I bought the house, two home inspectors couldn't find the darn thing!

Now, I've got problems with the leveling the floors and frozen pipes. It would be beneficial to have a crawl space - but a coworker told me that I might not even have one. Have you heard of a home w/o a crawl space? My home is about 100 years old. How will I go about fixing my house problems with no access to a crawl space or basement?

I'm a Canadian who has been living in Manchester for about 5 years now and I'm wondering if there is some kind of organisations that lets you set up random road trips. There's a lot to see in England but it seems you need a car to see some of them. (70 million people living on a postage stamp and you still need a car?!) Anyway, where I'm from, the spirit of the road trip is that you pile three or more people into a car, split costs filling up the tank and just go somewhere random to see a site. It's successful if people are generally content with whatever they see and just have a good time. I know that a lot of people who have cars would never venture out on a road trip because they wouldn't do it alone. And people like me who don't have one sometimes can't go even if they wanted to. And if there's stuff to see within shooting distance of Manchester... then there MUST be a newsgroup, a bulletin board or something that already does this. Anyone know of what that might be?

i'm 5'3-5'4 120 lbs 14 yrs old and female..yeahh i sound pretty normal but i wear a size small/medium shirt and size 7 pants!!!! how can i get rid of some of the "junk" in my trunk :P aha i know some guys like it that way and are like "more cushion for the pushin" but are my sizes too big??? how much should i lose?

She seems very different if i'm not paying attention to her. We have a strong bond at times, but sometimes I just don't feel like talking. So I withdraw from everyone. When this happens my female coworker seems more withdrawn also but once I start talking again especially if it's with her she becomes her normal happy self again. I don't understand why she does this. She makes me feel guilty but I have problems because I take massive amounts of caffiene, and if I don't have caffiene in my system I crash hard and don't want to deal with anyone. But I'm not a jerk to anyone, I just get very quiet and keep to myself.

her that I said some derogatory things about her that she is useless and doesn't know what she is doing. I didn't say those thing about her. The woman use to be my boss 4 years ago before I got another position in our state gov. agency for three months. She never liked me for no reason because I was appointed to my job, and she doesn't like the fact that I am of a certain color and political persuasion. She has been saying stuff about me to other colleagues but I didn't go around saying that I would file a complaint because it is heresay.

What happened one her employees, had hacked into my computer. I saw her employees user id on my Novell log in. I called the help desk and got a ticket number. Later that day, the IT guy called me and I explained about my computer. He said for me to contact the woman. I told him no because we can't stand eacher we don't get along. We have a history. I don't feel that need to contact her because it is a computer issue.

My boyfriend and I have been together for +1.5 years. He doesn't say "I love you" all the time, but he calls a couple of times a day. He's a police officer and calls me at the end of his shift so that I don't worry. He's helping me do improvements on my place. He's fixed my car & given me car repair lessons. And he's asked me to plan a small vacation for us next month.

I know he loves me, but I find it interesting that he uses actions instead of words (this is new to me) and it's amazing how much more it means.

So, is this how men show love? If so, it's great!

Hullo there. I would like to share with you an urban legend.

A few years back, there was a case of a wandering woman in town in the evenings. She had a broken face. Her lips strech all the way almost to her ears.

If anyone were to encounter her, she'll ask "Am I pretty or not?"

If you answered no, she'd kill you on the spot.

If you answered yes, she'd follow you to your home then kill you and the rest of your family.


The only way to escape death, is by telling her "not bad".

I split wit the love of my life 5 months ago,we were really in love. She dumped me cus she thought i didnt trust her cus of a message she got,it was sent by my sis but i took the blame cus of family probs in r house.
