I am writing my first novel that actually made it past the first chapter. I am very excited and was wondering how to go about copyrighting before I try to get it published. I have a friend who is a notary, is that sufficient or do I have to copyright and how do I go about that? Also any tips on finding an agent would be helpful.

I just want to know if there is any way you guys know of to help me ask a girl out. But also, I am in 7th grade and she is in 8th grade. I am in ASB and she is in ASB and we both are dance commisioners. But it is really, really, really hard to tell if she likes me. I bought a rabbit hutch from a company on Ebay. It's not as described (different size), really poor quality, parts missing and generally not fit for purpose. The seller has said that they'll give me a full refund less p&p which isn't really fair when you take into account all the problems with the hutch. Also, I'm going to have to foot the bill to get the hutch back to them, it's going to cost me a fortune. Do I have a leg to stand on?

The landlord told me in November that he was 2 months behind on the morgage payment. He has been receiving the rent from the 2 appartments in the house. I just found out 3 days ago from the girl upstairs that all of this was happening. I live in PA. So, I went to the Sheriff's office to see if it is true and it is. They suggest I move before then. So, am I obligated to pay him rent any longer?

That show she had for the school in africa just made me sick, Just do it and dont pat your self on the back for everything. If she is doing it to be nice then why does she have to let everyone have know that she did it? I know i am going to about it from all the Queen Oprah loavers out there.

Then why are the things that He did (raising men from the dead, water/wine, etc.) still considered miracles to this day? I get that it was astonishing at the time, but if we believe that Jesus was God then aren't these relatively minor accomplishments for someone that created man to begin with? Not to mention, created the entire universe? Wouldn't you expect an entity that could create a universe to be able to bring a mere human back to life? Why is this a 'miracle' instead of just a normal act of God?

Doing so seems to get thumbs down a lot more often than I'd expect, no matter how obvious it is that the person asking is full of it.

I think there's a place for fun on here, but I also think there're a lot of serious questions getting serious answers, so am inclined to say "Look, don't waste your time and mine" on the BS ones. I am also thoroughly appreciative of the people who read posters' other questions a bit when something looks suspicious, and point out when we're having our legs pulled.

I'm looking for an Anthropology program that requires a one-year residency followed by a practicum or thesis to fullfill all required credits.
