I do i love games i want to design them but none of my friends like them they just like sing star and those things i like final fantasy, summoner devil may cry all that but i dont know any other girls who do... am i just alone in my town, the only girl who likes these games? please correct me if im wrong!!!!

I'm 32 and a PC and PS2 owner, had my first console when I was 10, which was the Atari, fave game back then was Space Invaders (yeah I know it sounds very retro to you younger gamers out there!!).
I love most types of games, especially Silent Hill, Evil Dead, Devil May Cry, Sims, Crash Bandicoot and most platform/beat 'em up's. I also love Pinball games too and yes I am old enough to remember the real arcade machines too, he he he he he.
After my first Atari I had the ZX Spectrum which was kinda like a PC but very basic. Next came the Sega Master System, then the Mega Drive. Sega Saturn and Nintendo. Had a PS1 when they first came out and haven't looked back. I love my PS2 but will wait for the price to seriously drop before getting the PS3.
Because I am a geek I still have my Saturn and games for that as well as my Mega Drive and games. Still kept all of my old PS1 games to play on the 2 as well :)

All my girlfriends have hated them and say they are anti social. I do find tho they seem to like beat em ups maybe they imagine they are hitting me am I that bad a boyfriend? I think tho to be fair a lot of games are aimed at a male audience sports playing army if there were more female oriented games I think that the female market would get as hooked as all us men. Ps If you like RPG`s the best game is Oblivion the PS2 is not good enough for this game tho as it is next gen its on Pc, PS3, or 360

Yes, well I did when I was younger I only play if I'm playing two player with my little brother now. Don't feel alone or different.
When you get older you will have less time for gaming anyway and will probably grow out of it.
If you do really like games and are serious about desgning them then it doesn't matter what your friends like because you are the one who wants to make a career out of games.

Yea I love PC & console games! Tho I don't own any consoles or whatever & tend to avoid the man-with-a-gun type games these days. I love strategy games & racing car (or similar) games. When I was in my early teens I played stuff like Doom, Blake, Half Life, Tomb Raider. I'd probably still play that last one today actually cos it had really cool locations! I know other girly girls who like PC/Playstation games too.

I am 41 yrs old and love xbox & playstation! I'm into adventure & fantasy horror survival games like Silent Hill & Fable. No, you are not alone. It is the media who depicts men majorly interested in video games because they try to promote the sports games, but women enjoy video game consoles also.

Yea I continuously predicted that there could be extra men at right here! yet i'm the sole lady that I reallly be responsive to in real existence it is like that (besides 2 of my acquaintances). I spend all day the two staring at anime, right here, or enjoying FF, KH, or Guitar Hero lol! Yep... it is my day on a similar time as absolutely everyone else is out at Abercrombie! Mwahahha I in no way seen that!

I'm a 29 yr old woman and have always been into RPG games,love Final Fantasy etc.. and now my 16yr old stepdaughter likes playing them too,so does my 10 year old niece,so you're not alone!!

I LOVE VIDEOGAMES. Dont like "girly"games. I Love Final Fantasy, supersmash bros. melee, Halo, Dynasty warriors, Legend of Zelda games and other games. I know it sucks being the only girl among your friends that play "real" games.

My friends wife is 30 and she loves playing video games. She has ALL the game consules. She is a power gamer, a gamer who likes to mow down people, she likes a smash'em, shoot'em up games.
AND she is a mother of two.
AND she is trying to get my friend (her husband) to get a big screen TV just to game on.

I've been playing Broken Sword - Shadow of The Templars on the PC all week. I got it off ebay cos I was feeling all nostalgic. My bf thinks I'm mental. I also beat his butt at Wipeout. He wasn't happy.
