First soldiers are not Marines, dont confuse us. If he was gay and kept it to himself no problem as long as he would have my back in a firefight. If he would have come out in the field he would not be wounded.
You have to ask the question, why is he coming out now, he is safely out of the Corps?

Why should it be abolished? Why should anyone care about someone else's sexual orientation? Explain to me why it's a "must know". I don't tell people about my sex life and I appreciate not knowing about theirs. I think the no ask, no tell polilcy should remain intact. Thank you and may GOD come soon to correct the wrong in this sick world.
