Serious or not, parents like to know who their children, (no matter your age), are involved with. Whether romantically or just who their friends are.

If you are close with your parents, they's appreciate that you include them in your life and share.

Tell 'em.

You should tell them now. Even If the relationship is serious or not im sure that they would like to know about it because they want to be included in your life.

Tell them now!!!!!! My boyfriend did not tell his parents about us for over a year and a half (prior circumstances) and that was the most depressing time of my life!!!! Tell them; just don't go into too much detail yet. Seriously, tell them or she will hold so much inner resentment toward you.

Tell your parents the truth.. how you feel about the girl and that you care for her and love her because sooner or later they will find out some way...

Well, they probably could figure this out without you telling them. A lot of people weren't really surprised when my boyfriend proposed cause they could tell how close we were.

Also, it's not really any of their business anyway. It's not something that's forbidden. When you're ready to propose to this girl, that's when you can tell them, but for now you don't have to confess your feelings for her to them.
