This married couple was on holiday. They were touring around the marketplace looking at the goods and such, when they passed this small sandal shop.

From inside they heard a gentleman say, "You, foreigners! Come in. Come into my humble shop." So the married couple walked in.

The man said to them, "I have some special sandals I think you'd be interested in. They make you wild at sex like a great desert camel."

Well, the wife was really interested in buying the sandals after what the man had claimed, but her husband felt he really didn't need them, being the sex god he was. The husband asked the man, "How could sandals make you into a sex freak?"

The man replied, "Just try them on." Well, the husband, after much badgering from his wife, finally conceded to try them on. As soon as he slipped them onto his feet, he got this wild look in his eyes; something his wife hadn't seen in many years--- raw sexual power.

My son has to go to the neurologist to get a brain scan. They said they have to put these sticky things on his head. Are they going to shave his hair? I'm gonna cry if they do. I went into our wood for a stroll, and met a big fat pink hog. He
lives there, I quite forgot about him. He ran after me and chased me up a tree.
Now he talks to me so sweetly, cajoling me, asking me to get down. But I do not want to, he has such a bad reputation: he kills lambs, steals vegetables, attack strangers. He assures that he is bad only with others, and that he'd be nice and kind to me.
Should I believe him and get off this tree?

I've seen Humans literally worship Kings, Queens, Celebrities, Sports Stars, Popes, Spouses, and more who could never give them eternal life, and so much more. Or what about those people who PAY strangers for the pleasure of worshiping them??

With the exception of parents, the above people rarely know the people who worship them, and do nothing personally for them. Yet people worship them freely, but God who gives us everything, and promises eternal life and more is called cruel and egotistical??

Whether people want to admit it or not, human parents choose to have children so they will be loved, looked up to, admired, and have the Gift of giving love, protecting, and teaching a child created from themselves. There is no difference, other than the fact human parents are less deserving of our love because God created them too. Were it not for God no one could have children.

Also, for those of you who will say parents do not have children to love them, you either don't have children, or are not being 100% honest. If parents only had children to GIVE love, why have birth children at all?? There are MILLIONS of children alive right now who have no parents. Why not adopt a child just to GIVE love? A truly loving parent, desires children to feel a bond, connection, and sense of love from a child who is a part of them.

So why do you think people who worship humans have a problem with worshipping God? Thanks

I just looked at my stats from the application I sent to the UNI. I want to transfer to and it said Freshman Associate Degree Transfer. NOW WAIT A MINUTE!! I thought a 2 year college was the equivelent to your Freshman and Sophomore years at a Uni. so when I transfer I'll be classified as a junior wouldn't I?! Please tell me I'm right or I think I'm on the verge of passing out.

I graduated in December with 79 hours and a associate degree in Political Science and according to both Uni.'s I applied to I only needed over 64 hours to be classified as a junior. I have 79. Well over what is needed.What is going on?! Why am I being classified as a freshman?! Thank You

Honest folks...the term "conservative" has some meaning for me. But the term "neo-con" is a null term.

I sense that it is a derogatory terms used as epithet, but can anyone tell me what it really means?

If someone can answer this and tell me the differences between the two terms, I am willing to suffer the slings and arrows of those that would think me ignorant or stupid...which would be an error in observation on their part by the way.

Just tell me OK?

My husband's grandmother is having some serious mental issues. The most recent case being that she thought my husbands was "smoking dope" and was shot while playing cards. I also had a child by another man, which I killed so my husband wouldn't find out.

She lives in a nursing home, mainly because her physical health was declining. Her mental health, which was well to start with, has rapidly declined since entering. (She checked herself into the home.)

My husband and I went to visit her IN PERSON to show her that he was alive and well and not on "dope", and that we have a perfectly healthy marriage.

It hurts to see her decline as she is. It hurts even more that she is telling these stories.

I want to find information, so that when I speak to her doctor or nurse I am well informed and ready to ask questions.

I'm american but i can't speak english well PLus i haven't talked much my whole life cause i'm a quiet person. When i speak, anything i say doesn't make sense although i try my best. Also i have trouble with reading, i can't remember what i read at all. I can't remember vocabulary either, and although i'm 27 i wound like a 10 year old kid.

Well , however, i study a forieng language Japanese...Although i'm not perfect, i can speak pretty good, have a good accent and whenever i speak it( in voice chat mostly cause don't have jpan friends), it's awesome and i can communicate with the people of that country. Yet i feel like no matter how much i study, i get stuck alot on conversation because i can't remember many of the things i studied. so i've studied alot of vocab but when i need to use it i can't remember any of it.
