I think it's more: "Places to go, people to see" Think it basically means getting out there in the world and meeting new people either it be friends or boyfriends or girlfriends...

I dont' agree with it but a there are people who do ... just hang out at your favorite STD clinic or go volunteer at the Aids ward at your local hospital and I am sure you will find many.
