I went into our wood for a stroll, and met a big fat pink hog. He
lives there, I quite forgot about him. He ran after me and chased me up a tree.
Now he talks to me so sweetly, cajoling me, asking me to get down. But I do not want to, he has such a bad reputation: he kills lambs, steals vegetables, attack strangers. He assures that he is bad only with others, and that he'd be nice and kind to me.
Should I believe him and get off this tree?

I don't think so, never believes a stranger. If he's so nice to you, why would he chased after you? He should say hello to you instead of chasing after you.
