I recently picked up a g3 laptop with 512 of ramfor some audio processing on the run. By adding , lets say, a 20 g external hard drive, does that increase my ram to 20.5? Will effect speed (my guess is not)? Or does it simply work like a giant flash drive? Am I just better off using the money towards a more powerful puter.

I just dont get it. She broke up with me because she felt that she wasn't ready for another relationship and that she has to focus with college and that I would be better off as a friend. I respected her decision

We have a class together but for the first 2 weeks she literally ignored me and tried to avoid me as much as possible.. I tried to ask whats wrong and got nothing but a cold attitude. Afterwards, I didnt push the issue any further and left her alone. Then out of nowhere she starts being friendly again and starts to talk to me again.

However, I feel like she doesn't respect me. Everytime we were in class she would always talk to our friend and leave me out of the conversation.. Even when we would do work together, she would only come to me when she has to

Recently she started being cold again and I got tired of it.. so i ignored her for that day. she asked me what was wrong and I confronted her about it and that I didnt care anymore. she got defensive and now we dont talk.

i have a old computer that isnt worth anything,

i was thinking of throwing it off the balcony because it has a real slow processor that probobly contains viruses

do you think i could flog it off to someone that knows nothing about computers and tell them its the latest model or what

I was diagnosed with hypothyroidism 15 years ago (I am now 26 years old) and had surgery to completely remove my thyroid 9 years ago. I've been taking synthroid all along and have been doing well on it. For the past 2 years, I've been taking 100 MCG one time daily. I just received my 6 month check up and my doctor said that TSH level is at 3.09, and she said that people with hypothyroidism tend to do better/feel better with a TSH level between 1 and 2, so she is putting my dosage at 125 MCG daily. I have a hard time understanding the dosages with this. What causes the TSH level to change if my thyroid is completely gone? Does this mean my doc is INCREASing my dosage, or DECREASing my dosage? As regards to weight/metabolism, is this going to mean that I may have a harder time losing weight now, or an easier time? My previous dose of 100 MCG, did that mean that I was getting TOO MUCH synthroid, or TOO LITTLE? Thanks!! I'm just trying to understand this all.

I never got around to filing my 2005 tax return - I am actually waiting for a former employer to resend me my info. Can I still file my 2006 return or do I have to wait and do 2005 first? If I can file 2006, will I be assesed a penalty on my 2006 return for having not filed 2005?

My son's school makes me crazy sometimes .There is a new set of rules every week. We can't drop them off just on the sidewalk in front of the school.( thats in the parking lot) except for a 15 ft area right in front of the main entrance. That means I have to pass the building his classroom is in and wait for all these people who don't trust their kid to walk 10 ft into the building.( They have to sit there holding up traffic and watch the kid go in the door even though there are teachers standing there to do that job.)
But they are allow to ride their bikes or walk from home.
Then they are micromanaging recess they aren't allowed to play football, not even catch! then they outlawed kickball, and tore down a cool obstical course the kids loved.

I have brought a toshiba laptop with vista installed and i find the screen sometimes flickers. not alot, but for example it does it when i play solitare. It is the first laptop i have had because i usually use normal computers. is it a problem or is it something laptops do?

I am looking at purchasing Goodyear Integrity tires at Walmart. I was wondering if anyone knows how good these tires are and if they are the same tire as you would buy anywhere else? Do you think that these would prove to be a safe, reliable tire?

I have never raised a dog from a puppy before. We have a 12 week old Jack Russell Terrier, and yes, I know that they're hyperactive, and that as a puppy he has a short attention span.

We're crate-training him to housebreak him. So far, he's had very few accidents, due to our ever-watchful eyes.

The problem I have is sometimes when I take him out to toilet him, he is more interested in biting my pants leg, attacking the leash, or eating mulch.

How can I get him to stop biting my pants leg, first and foremost? The mulch I assume I can break him of, and probably just keep him away from it. The leash, I guess I just figure that he'll get used to it. But the pantsleg thing is very annoying when you're trying to get him to poop.

now i ski on volkls, which are great skis but they bend. I hate to waste another 700+ on skis and have them break again, so if anyone who knows skis well pls give me some suggestions on a strong ski that is designed for really hard skiing.
