Why not? A date is basically 'just to get to know someone better' and you aren't going to have to MARRY HIM after just one date. Who knows ... that date that you 'missed' because of your 'height prejudices' may have turned out to be the 'best date of your life' ...
I 'like' tall and built' guys, too, but my husband, who is my 'one and only' is only 5'10', bald, and fat. Okay, he's not a midget, but what if I hadn't wanted to date HIM? Then I'd be 'old' and 'sad' and 'lonely' instead of being TOTALLY HAPPY with my life.
Oh, I have never 'dated' a midget, but made friends with some when I was on vacation once, and they were 'just like everyone else' except for their size. I KNOW that ... it's too bad you don't.

I think it would be just plain uncomfortable for both people. The taller person would just feel really tall all the time: too tall. And would probably get muscle cramps from bending over. And the shorter person would feel shorter. Also muscle cramps. Self conciousness of both also. What about dancing?
It would seem like a nice thing to just say yes, but that could just hurt in the long run if the relationship doesn't stick. I am about dating only if it's going somewhere with the intentions and boundaries clearly stipulated.

NO, but I admire people who look past that and can.
I am sure that they are nice people but that would not work for my lifestyle.
I might have went out with him however if we could be clear that it was a fun thing and NOT A DATE!
We might have had a good time together hanging out or dancing and if I was single it could be a win win for both of us.
There is a little people's convention that meets a few times every year and that would be a great place for him to look if he has had time finding women to date that are not little people.

Depends....I have never dated anyone because they belonged in a category....it's a case by case thing. but He wouldn't be eliminated simply beacause he was short.
