do u think the death penalty is fair ? why or why not . Me personally i dont think it is fair or the right thing to do to solve a problem or to bring back people. like the 10 comandments states thou shalt not kill it didint say its ok to kill if ur killing a person who killed people .

I've been playing the guitar for 5 years now and I'm sick of my current 15W amp. I'd like to go bigger, but I'm not sure what to get.

I play mainly thrash/heavy metal (Judas Priest, Iron Maiden, Metallica, Ozzy, etc), and I'd like to have the power if I need it. I don't gig yet, but that doesn't really influence my choice right now.

I know I'd like a combo unit, rather than a half/full stack. I've looked at Marshall, and I think there are better metal amps for the money. My next choice was Mesa/Boogie. They're expensive, and I don't really care whether it's tube, valve, or solid state.

Then I looked at Line 6. They're much less expensive, and have gotten great reviews. But, they build effects and amp modelling into pretty well every amp, which I don't need, and makes me wonder if the amp can't just 'be itself'. I have my own effects.

I'm looking at something between 50 and 150 watts, preferably with 1 or 2 12" speakers, preferably Celestions. $500 max. Any ideas?

When I was a child, my Belief in God was based mainly on "tradition"...or "hearsay". I was never taught or advised to "prove" anything...to myself or anyone else. I was simply told by some elder I that Loved and Trusted, "you just have to believe"...and so I did. But what was the QUALITY of my Belief? Looking back, I can see that my "pre-awakening" belief was little more than "superstition"...which brings me to the core of my answer...

I've tried saving videos and clips to my mp4 but i can't view it. my mp4's menu for videos is AVM(and i don't know what's that). i'd tried saving MPEGs and AVIs but i still can't view it through my Mp4's screen. It says that the file is empty

I have a new cat rescued from the RSPCA a week ago. He's really friendly and settled in quite well and loves being fussed and sits on my lap and everything, but still runs away if approached in certain rooms that he's not familiar with.

However, come bedtime, he cries all night. He's not shut in a room and he had food and water available and a basket that he likes sleeping in as well as another cat for company, as they came as a pair.

It's loud crying and constant for about 15 minutes a time, 2 or 3 times a night. I've been to see what the fuss is a couple of times and there's nothing wrong with him. He's just standing there crying and when you go down, he just comes up for attention.

What's wrong with him? And how long is this going to carry on for?? I'm shattered!!

I wondered if it might stop once he's allowed to go outside?

I take him out side or for walks and he comes back and goes straight on his mat. I have tried shutting out in the garden with his clean mat he howles and cries to come back in. Then goes to his mat indoors he has also started to pee-pee on the carpets.

I have my first ballroom competition coming up in about a month, and I have no idea what to wear. The guidelines for level 1 (which is where I'll be competing, i suppose) are pretty strict - 'dress is to be classified as general daywear, eg skirt and blouse or dress. Not allowed: Slacks and after five wear. No metallic or diamonte sequin materials allowed. No decoration allowed (eg rhinestones, sequins, fringing, lace, feathers, pearls etc). No decorations allowed in hair, which must be tied back, using a simple elastic or scrunchy. Buns are also allowed. No jewellery allowed. Plain gold or silver studs the exception.'
How can I still catch the judges' eyes and look really nice without breaking regulations?

My boyfriend's a really great guy, but like every1 he has his flaws. He goes to Cal-State LA & gets good grades, but I sometimes feel like I have to think for him. He never knows where he's going when he's driving unless he's driven the route 10 times. His manners aren't bad, but they're not good either. When my parents brought him w/them 2 visit me at college, he didn't once offer 2 pay for anything -- gas, food, etc. I know he didn't do that intentionally, it's just that he didn't think. He treats my like a queen and we've been together for 3 years, but I don't know what to do anymore. I try to ignore my parents "comments" about him ("He's too shy," "He walks funny," [which is only a little true but he's really cute so that trumps it]) but it's getting harder. I really love and care about him & we share this amazing connection - I know it sounds corny but it's actually true. My folks say I should see what else's out there, but I don't know. Do u think things will get better w/time?
