This guy is a stud, a killer stud, I mean, like he's huge for a Quarterback, I'm at a loss of words, is he the biggest QB that the NFL has ever drafted?, cause the only other big one I know is Daunte Culpepper, but Daunte is slightly smaller than him. So what does the future hold for JaMarcus Russell?, what do you guys think his impact on the NFL will be like?

He looks to be a pretty good prospect

as for biggest, he was not drafted, but Giants have a QB who's 6-4" 285.

(and actually JR's playing weight was 255, Daunte's was 260 before hurting his knee and having to loose weight).

JaMarcus Russell is a QB with star written all over him. You have to see him in person to understand how great he is. If it wasnt for Les Miles' run-first running back by committee offense, there would have been no doubt that he was far better than Brady Quinn (a/k/a the next Rick Mirer). He had to embarrass Quinn and the Failing Irish in the Sugar Bowl to prove what I already knew. This guy can throw the ball 40 yards effortlessly. If he goes to Oakland, they better try to figure out what makes Moss happy and then give it to him, because that would be an explosive combination. If all goes well, Russell ends up in Canton when it's all said and done.

To Herb C when did Russell lead LSU to a vicctory over a top ten team?

As for Russell he will go 1st no doubt but Quinn is so underrated he will go to the vikes 7th overall and turn them to an 8-8 team or better. Vince Young is the best young quaterback the nfl has. Quinn will go to the vikes and star. Russell will not he has no line no matter how big you are if your is line below average then you will be sacked. He has no wideouts Moss wants out and I forgot his name also wants out and if they get there way then what? You have two young QB's on the raiders so do you go Russell or Calvin Johnson?

A superstar no doubt. I call him the Shaq of the NFL he is going to be hard to sack and has a strong arm I hope my team take him the raiders but you know Al will screw it up take somebody else and watch Russell be a star like Vince Young was last year and get this Vince Young will be even better this year. Vince young is the Lebron of the NFL and JaMarcus Russell is the Shaq of the NFL two dudes who will change the Game.

He's NOT the answer. He plays ONE great game against a Notre Dame team that doesn't play defense and everyone thinks he's a stud. The only reason we're talking about him going #1 is because the lack of QB talent in this years draft.

The Raiders need to sign a veteran free agent QB. I don't trust any QBs in this years draft whether they are short or long term QBs.

Russell for constructive. His final 4 video games of 08' have been downright sturdy. If he can stay brought about and guarded interior the pocket, he ought to turn the group around. If the Raiders beat the Chargers in week a million, they are going to win the branch. If the run D shows up, there is not any reason they might't win that sport.

Brady Quinn would be a stupid pick. When was the last time he led Notre Dame to a significant victory over a top ten team? I recall never. JaMarcus Russell has better physical tools, and probably is just going to get better.

As a Raider Fan, I think Quinn will be the better and will be best for our team. Russell is O.K. but he aint as ready to play as Quinn is.

If The Raiders were to Draft Russell, My hope for the future will vanish.

Quinn all the way BABY!!

i dont think russells gonna end up better than average, he should loose a little weight first so he's more mobile, but overall i dont think he'll have that big of an impact, and i wont be surprised if he gets tossed around the NFL and his names forgotten in a couple years
