Ok, Eitheryour hard drive is not connected or you have no Operating system loaded, Please insert Windows XP or Windows VISTA into the drive and Install Windows at the Setup if it displays C:\ Continue with the install otherwise your hard drive is not connected correctly and repeat this procoess again after it's connected correctly.

OK, go into your bios setup. Check where it has the boot order. It may be trying to boot from your nic card (ethernet) first. Make sure it is set up as Floppy (if you have one), then CD-Rom, then HD, and everything else last. That will solve the cable problem.

Next do you have an OS loaded on your HD? You should install windows after you do the first step. Put in the windows disk and follow the instructions.

PXE is a boot from network.

What you are getting is that you don't have an OS loaded on the HDD. If this is a new system then you need to install an OS they don't come preloaded on Hard drives. (only on prefab systems like Dell, HP)

If this is old system then you have soemthing wrong in teh BIOS or (most likely) with the hardware connections to the hard drive.
