My boyfriend's a really great guy, but like every1 he has his flaws. He goes to Cal-State LA & gets good grades, but I sometimes feel like I have to think for him. He never knows where he's going when he's driving unless he's driven the route 10 times. His manners aren't bad, but they're not good either. When my parents brought him w/them 2 visit me at college, he didn't once offer 2 pay for anything -- gas, food, etc. I know he didn't do that intentionally, it's just that he didn't think. He treats my like a queen and we've been together for 3 years, but I don't know what to do anymore. I try to ignore my parents "comments" about him ("He's too shy," "He walks funny," [which is only a little true but he's really cute so that trumps it]) but it's getting harder. I really love and care about him & we share this amazing connection - I know it sounds corny but it's actually true. My folks say I should see what else's out there, but I don't know. Do u think things will get better w/time?

You say he treats you like a queen and gets good grades - so why didnt he make an effort for your parents? Hes obviously not dumb, but like alot of men, he sounds too lazy to do the job properly...its a trait you either learn to live with, or you can look for another guy who isnt quite as bad.

if you are having doubts, why not try to see other people for a while and allow him to do the same? if you are meant to be together - it will all work out in the end. I know from experience once you start having doubts and feeling the least bit unhappy in a relationship, it will snowball from there and just get worse the longer you stay in it. You will regret it if you don't give yourself a chance to at least see what else the world has to offer-- for the both of you. Talk to him and see how he feels. You never know, he may feel the same as you do about the relationship.

If you love him than you don't think of nothing else except him and your relationship. Sometimes those who talk wrong about the person you love doesn't want you to be better than them, hate you and they're jealous of you. And about the question if he'll change or not all I can say is that time is the healing of all things.
Hope you'll be happy and good luck!!

honestly no. If a guy is like that when he is young it will only get worse when you are married and much worse when you guy are old. If the there are things that realy bother you about this guy the don't marry him. us women should know that we can do anythng with our men, but we can't change their bad habbits. they are there to stay!!! I hope this helps you!!!!

Don't buy the "if you're happy, that's what counts" BS. Relationships should not be abut what you get out of it, it should be what you give.
