He waits outside until start of shift smoking and I know he doesn't like me...backstabs and gossips with cronies...I used to say hello...or nice weather, etc. until I heard his backstabbing get worse. Now, I just walk on by him without saying anything but he makes this a big deal too.....by muttering under his breath...and giving me dirty looks. I was always the first to speak to him when I did in the past. He can gossip any other time, but wants to play this game like I am snotty and not speak to me first. He is coworker and not management. I asked others if they say hello to him....and they say no. No big deal for them? I get the added dirty looks...? I am even thinking of parking in the lot [out of my way] so I won't have to pass in front of him, but go straight into door....I don't know why people are so fake with greetings or not when they can't stand ya anyway? I'd rather not speak at all. Yesterday, I noted when another coworker pulled in and walked to door with him..

I eat way to much mcdonald's and high fat content foods. I have a fast metabolism so I never gain weight, I just need to protect my arteries from getting clogged. I hate all vegetables, so it's hard to find healthy snacks. I eat tons of snacks, but they are not good for me.I am 16 and only work part time. So I don't have much money to buy the good organic products. Any ideas for snacks???

I just saw a response that said "women now have worth beyond fawning over a man and having children".

Am I to suppose that MEN should have worth beyond "fawning over a wife and raising children"

What is more worthy then being nice to somebody and creating a life and caring for it?

It's one thing to have a choice between family and career but why must that choice DEMEAN women that are NICE to MEN and love and spend time and care for there families.

It's a free country, go get a career and be the CEO and spend your afternoons in the board-room instead being a mommy at the park. Spend your life by yourself so you won't have to worry about having to FAWN over a man.

Some of us choose to be giving and caring and raise families. That's our choice and don't be rude to us. Our children will be running the world soon not yours.

okay so I was driving and I forgot to yield(to the hwy..which I rarely do forgot)...and this dilapitated car goes after me speeds up to me and looks like he was screaming and etc...to the side of me soo i thought that was the end of it..boy was i wrong he went to the back up to me tailing me...and he just kept stalking me so i had to drive any way possible to get away from this maniac..go on the service road ...cutting ppll this guy was insane...idk what i should do but i was so scared...i happen to turn somewhere and hide

My friend works at a medical facility, and the front picture window has a ledge over it, and the picture is by the entrance. Needless to say, the pigeons are a nuisance for the patients as the pigeons are coming and going, not to mention the bird poop.

Does anyone know of a humane way to make the pigeons roost elsewhere?

I have a roommate who I've known for years and she has a drinking problem. When she's sober, she's fine. Everytime she gets drunk she says really mean, hurtful, backhanded things to me. She doesn't get mean with everyone. Only a select few (I'm one...lucky me). We used to be close, but I can't tell her personal things because she uses them against me later (mocking me... trying to make me feel bad). She also gets offended that I don't really tell her things anymore. I have 9 more months on the lease and I need to figure out how I can handle this? I can't talk to her about it because she gets defensive and angry and takes it out on me. It will only make my life worse. She is a lost cause. I just need to figure out how to cope with living with her until the lease is up. Any advice?
