next time it happens, drive to the nearest police or fire station, lock your doors and honk your horn. What ever you do, don't get out or roll your window down even just an inch. THis person could have been on drugs and sometimes druggies have increadible strength. Just try and get attention from someone who can help. Don't drive too fast to out run the person because you are already nervous and might wreck.
Rage driving is a very serious matter.

You were a victim of road rage. Next time, simply pull out your cell phone and let the other driver see you. Then dial 911 and report him to the operator. They will keep you on the line so you can provide them with information about the other driver such as type of car, license plate number, current location, etc. They will dispatch an officer in the area to meet up ahead in the direction you are going. Or, you can get off at the next stop to a gas station and if the other driver is still following, call 911 from your car or go inside to the station and have them call 911. At least other people will be witnesses.

The best thing to do would be if you have a cell phone call the police and tell them what is happening. Road Rage is a crime and should not be tolerated.

If this ever happens again, you should call 911. And you should get his license number. And you should drive to the local police department and not get off onto side roads where no one can see you.
