in case you actually pick to help our troops who're combating in Iraq, Afghanistan - write letters, deliver playing cards to them. purchase present programs, calling playing cards, & deliver it to the squaddies! they favor definitely movements, no longer in simple terms donning blue at residing house for instance! I help our troops! yet i do no longer imagine the blue blouse can do some thing! this isn't a vibrant theory. i comprehend you tried very confusing, yet regrettably, it really is incorrect frame of mind!

I support our troops with a huge portion of my tax money.

I am done supporting them after that. I look at it this way:

I am paying for a service from all these guys who got the benefit of not having to go to college and many of whom didn't even have to pay much attention in school.

Since I am paying them with my tax dollars, I am the customer, and, I honestly don't need to worry myself with things like "when they come home" or, "whether they need more armor."

That's in the job description and my money is already taken and spent for that stuff. Ask this kind of question to senators and generals who misuse that money and make bad decisions (like flying helicopters over cities full of people with AK-47's and RPGs... so wasteful of life and money)

I don't care about the war, but I pay a great deal of tax money that supports it whether I want to or not. I guarantee my taxes have purchased SEVERAL M-16's and body armor sets, so, I'm done. Putting weapons and armor in the field with my money is tons more meaningful than putting a yellow ribbon on my car and yelling about "support our troops".

I don't love our troops, because I know many of them... and while there are good ones, most of them are the kinds of guys who "didn't know what to do with their lives", and had terrible grades in school and wanted to continue playing army.

Those of them with intelligence and honor that actually joined purely out of patriotism and wanting to defend freedom get my respect, but I assure you this is not the majority of our armed forces. Most of em just wanted a paycheck like the rest of us, and they don't need any additional support to get that ;).
