My rental agreement expired on 31 August last year but I have continued living in the accommodation. Can anyone tell me, please, what the legal position is, ie, am I and the landlord still bound by the terms of the agreement?

hai, i am a homeschool mom. My son is 4 years old, and he is advanced. i want him to learn more but i dont have any idea what to teach him. can you, moms, tell me about it? especially if you are a homeschool your children? we use eclectic approach and i am open to every idea from every approach (classic, montessori, multiple intelligent, moore, etc...) I am the matron of honor in my sister's wedding. She also wants my 4year old daughter to be a flower girl and my 7year old son to be a miniature groom. Who should pay for what from attire to accessories including flower basket and such. We are on a tight budget which she knows. Her and her fiance bring in at least triple the income we do. I don't think she's considering it. I guess that's the main reason I'm asking. Thank you.

from a brief look at a map, Metairie and jefferson parish look just as large and densly populated as New orelans proper.

Would visiting Metairie and Jefferson Parish help broaden my perspective of the area? or should I stick to New orleans proper?

WIll my indian boyfriend break my heart??
I am a white female who is in a relationship with an indian male. He and I have a good relationship except for the doubt in the back of my head that he when he goes to india he will end up marring an indian woman. His mother sends pics of women to him all the time and he tells her that he is not attracted to indian women. I love him very much and we have discussed marriage but how do i know he is true to his word. I have read alot about indian/white relationships and they all end up with the indian marring an indian. will i get my heart broken. Or will he be true to his word and marry me as we have planned.

I have been learning the basics with an old yet reliable analogue SLR and have finally saved up enough money for a moderately priced digital SLR; I don't want to argue the old digital vs. analogue debate here as I am in no way qualified- I am changing to digital merely because I am going to try and make it in freelance journalism and so I need to work in digital (the accepted format if I am without my own darkroom).

I need a digital SLR that is relatively cheap new (around £400 would be great), beginner-friendly, and is unlikely to need upgrading significantly as my skill level (and hopefully workload) increases.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I'm taking a graduate level course for a Ph.D., and the class was given a research paper assignment wherein we had to defend or reject the notion that paradigms influence scientific research. I did what I thought was a very half-assed job at it, I mean, REALLY just phoning it in, so to speak, but I did make sure all my words were properly spelled, verbs and subjects agreed in tense, etc. I thought for sure I was done for...

Got an email from my professor this morning, saying "Your essay really brightened an otherwise bad morning. For the first time in a long time, I have a student that can write logically, creatively, and interestingly."

Makes me scared to think how bad the other students wrote! Is writing a lost art?

Am i the only person who notices disturbing parallels between the two? I'm not implying that Creationists are in any way Nazis, but:

1) Both reject accepted science/history because it doesn't conform to centuries-old beliefs

2) Both follow leaders who are prepared to knowingly twist facts but still believe themselves to be correct

3) Both will seize any tiny gap in accepted knowledge and proclaim it as proof of their beliefs

4) Both believe that accepted fact is infact a distortion caused by a massive underground conspiracy

I'm an English preparation class student and I have to give a short speech lasts 3-4 min. And I want to choose an interesting topic. It can be anything with a purpose because our teacher wants to know why I will going to talk about it.
