It seems fans of Jesus and God will never blame God for anything. Crackwhore? Someone who gave into Satan's temptations. Rape victim? Not God's fault, the rapist's fault.

Okay fair enough, but what about this?

A starving kid in Africa, who's sole reason for starving is geography. The land is barren, animals are scarce, the water is dirty, not polluted by man. This kid nor her tribe has excessively sinned. Why is the not God's fault, He created the land, and made it basically unlivable.

Children are dying, and why because God can't give Africa more rain?

If you read a book by someone you used to date (or went on one date with), and you think one of the characters whose 'name has been changed' resembles you and your time together dating...would you want a piece of the action? If the tale was not malicious intent and just a tonge-in-cheek story about the one or three dates you went on, all her opinion of the time spent together, would you still have an issue if the author did not contact you to inform you about the book? Would it make a difference if you knew about the book ahead of time? Would you sign a waiver before the book was published, even if you were not shown in the best light, but it was an accurate account of the events that unfolded?

One of my main gripes is that they supposedly cannot afford the vet , but hey they must have some extra money for the Internet cause they are on here!!! Making the decision to get a pet should not be taken lightly, and you should really think about it and make sure you will ALWAYS be able to provide the animal with basic care, food, water, shelter, medical care, for the rest of its life. If someone had a sick child and could not afford a doctor visit, their first option would NOT be to just dump it at a shelter like some do with pets. We foster rescue animals and some of the reasons for owner surrender (got too big for house, had to move, allergic)etc. BLOW my mind. Do your research, if your house cannot handle a dog over a certain size, do not get a large breed pup. If it is from a shelter and you cannot tell the breed, take it to the vet before adoption and get his opinion on how big it will be at full growth. And if you are allergic, why get the pet to begin with! Share your opinion

I'm a 25 year-old introverted female who works in a different town every week. I joined an online dating service with "profile-matching" to ensure compatibility with someone. Lo and behold, they came through---he is amazing. I flew to see him, things went great, he told me he had a great time, too. However, he didn't call me until 4 days after I'd gotten home from visiting him (after he'd told me to call and tell him if I'd "gotten in safely" and then didn't answer) And that will have been a week ago tomorrow. What gives? A little background info that keeps me hoping: (1) he is a doctor in residency working crazy thirty-something hour shifts every other day (2) he just found out (since we've met) that his mom has a tumor (his dad is dead) and he may be worried about her and (3) he's training to be a psychiatrist and seems wary about my commitment/responsibility issues. But he was SO communicative before and now he hasn't even responded to an e-mail I sent a week ago about his mom
