Why it is more fearful to you than others ?

Lupus. I work in a hospital and I've seen patients with this. It is a horrible disease. They just deteriorate and suffer for years. They have to have many, many surgeries in some cases. One patient I knew of even had to have some of his organs held together by screens inside him because of how the disease ravaged his body. I don't know much about the disease itself, but I've seen plenty suffer from it.
I'm also fearful of lung diseases because I lost my sister to one and it is so true and so scary what the American Lung Association says, "When you can't breathe, NOTHING else matters." ...talk about scary.
Lastly, I'd have to say blood clots. These can be benign and just take a long time to get rid of or they can snatch your life away in a second without warning. I've seen that happen to two patients...one in her 60's and the other a 19 year old boy.

wow, tough question as there are so many that are feared. Some of mine are: alzheimers disease, parkinsons disease, multiple sclerosis, cancer, lung disease. No disease is a great way to celebrate end-of-life, but seems we gotta go through one more final struggle before we get to leave earth to go to a better place.

Personally, AIDS, they used to have some real scary "Grim Reaper" ads here in AUST, but they seem to have lost the emphasis on AIDS here, even tho the figures are esculating, is this from the increase in African migrant ( no racism implied) ?? Or lack of public awareness, especially in the younger generation??

HIV, first because there is a lot people who think that if you have it you are gay and the many fables about the method of getting sick with it. Some people still thinking that can be spread out by a hug, a salute, etc, and people rejects you for it.

Almost every. esp, Alzheimer's, AIDS, STDs.
I seldom get sick. I actually like having a week old flu. Shows me I'm normal.
Why Alzheimer's? I don't want to forget. Memories are as precious as they are free.
STDs especially the itchy ones, makes you feel dirty and itchy too.
AIDS no exact cure yet.

SARS. If it is not under controlled, those around you or have in close contact with you will get infected and died. And there is no cure. It may wipe out your whole family. Unlike others, usually only the one has it suffered and died.

Love - Love is the biggest dieases on earth which can kill you Instantly as known if your boy friend your hubby etc ditch you that the biggest dieases that can make you suicide or kill you instantly .thats the biggest dieases to fear.
