It seems fans of Jesus and God will never blame God for anything. Crackwhore? Someone who gave into Satan's temptations. Rape victim? Not God's fault, the rapist's fault.

Okay fair enough, but what about this?

A starving kid in Africa, who's sole reason for starving is geography. The land is barren, animals are scarce, the water is dirty, not polluted by man. This kid nor her tribe has excessively sinned. Why is the not God's fault, He created the land, and made it basically unlivable.

Children are dying, and why because God can't give Africa more rain?

First off you're not texting on your phone, your laziness is murdering the English language. Second you think no one prayed for the starving children of Africa yet. So what? He said "no"? Jerk.

In ancient Jewish tradition Satan is simply an angel doing the work that God assigned to Satan to do.

The word Satan means challenger. With the idea of Satan challenging us, or tempting if you will. This description sees Satan as the angel who is the embodiment of man's challenges. This idea of Satan works closely with God as an integral part of Gods plan for us. His job is to make choosing good over evil enough of a challenge so that it becomes clear to us that there can be only one meaningful or logical choice.

Contrast this to Christianity, which sees Satan as God's opponent. In Jewish thought, the idea that there exists anything capable of setting itself up as God's opponent would be considered polytheistic or setting up the devil to be an equally powerful polarity to god or a demigod.

Oddly, proof for The Christian satan/devil mythology is supposedly found in the ancient Jewish texts that were borrowed to create the bible. One can’t help but wonder how Christians came up with such a fantastically different interpretation of Gods assistant Satan in their theology.

Other hints about Satan’s role in human relations can be seen if you look at the name Lucifer. It’s meaning in the original tongue translates as Light bearer or light bringer. Essentially the bringer of enlightenment. The temptations of the Satan idea bring all of us eventually into Gods light. Hardly the Evil entity of Christian mythology.

Nothing is Satan's fault. He can only present a choice to you. If you choose that path, deal with the consequences. That is all about freewill and you can't explain away why some people do bad things and blame it on the devil. When you get down to it, it's their fault.

As far as the kid in Africa, is that God's fault? To an extent, probably. He could intervene but for some reason or another, He doesn't. I don't know why. Was the Earth meant to be full of suffering? No. Adam & Eve chose that for all of us. Again, another result of choosing badly and suffering for it. I have no idea why God doesn't make more rain in Africa. Perhaps He wants people who have a good life to help those people out. I can't explain things like that because I'm not God. It's not fair and it's not right but then again, life isn't fair and no one is above suffering. There are people in this country starving to death everyday. Is that God's fault or the people who don't help them because they're looked at as lazy or bums? We all have the power to change bad things yet most of us just complain or want a God to be like a genie and fix things for us. He helps those that can't always help themselves.

Besides, there's no way to tell if that child or her tribe exsessively sinned. Just because you sin, that doesn't mean your life is bad and just because you're good, that doesn't mean your life will be easy peasy. My mom is a pretty righteous woman. She's gone through so much crap but she's a good person and believes in God. She doesn't blame God for the bad things. She questions Him but she deals with and moves on. There's no happiness/no suffering card for believing in God. You don't believe in God to have a good life. If you do that, you're going to be disappointed because bad stuff will happen.

You can't expect God to step in all the time. He's denied constantly and hurt all the time. He's not there just for the bad times. He's not there to "fix" things. If you don't like something, change it. Quit trying to blame God for the state of the world and help out your fellow man. If you're that concerned with Africa, join the Peace Corps and help out or send money to them.

I think what we do is entirely up to us. We have the ability to choose what we do. The devil didn't make me do it, I done it all on my own. I do believe that. The starving children in barren countries are a result of our own actions. Like greed that stresses the environment and creates such useless soil, pollution, or just downright monopolizing resources to those who can pay. I don't think Satan and God move us individually like a game of chess. I think that they control certain variables in which we can make a decision to do the right thing or not. Will we take the easy path and do the wrong thing, or will we do the right thing. Many of the issues we face today, if not all of them, are our own creations.

"in the journey that your grown son did something incorrect. Are you to blame? You created him, are you to blame for the strikes that he's taking?" Hallie: like I mentioned in a different thread, God isn't a human parent. A human parent has obstacles to what s/he can do in existence. God on the different hand is supposedly the writer of each and every thing via all the size of time and previous. God has the potential to create and uncreate at whim. God undergo in strategies, is all-powerful and infinite. Human dads and mothers have the prospect to grant start or to father a baby yet it fairly is all a parent can do. God on the different hand created the sentiments, the plans, the everythings of all of existence. subsequently, God has the potential to take and supply existence with a sigh of his breath. He may even remold existence and existence. we would not be waiting to grant blame to oldsters who've undesirable little ones because of the obstacles of what people can do at one in all those short lifespan, yet GOD on the different hand is infinite and almighty and efficient with huge awareness and understanding. in view that God has the potential to alter his creations on whim, and yet he would not, as people with limited potential and information, we are waiting to justify blame to a God that would not even lead by potential of occasion, nor shop us whilst soreness and misery is so prominant international. you will consider me that if i became a dad and that i observed my baby be stricken by ailment, and that i've got the potential to rid that ailment, i might in basic terms wish it away and my baby may well be soreness-loose. Does God try this? do not even communicate approximately miracles because of the fact in case you assert he does, then why won't God heal amputees?

The world is in its present state due to its fallen nature. The world fell with Adam and Eve. All you see around you, poverty, starvation, disease...is a result of sin having entered the world and snowballed into what it looks like right now.

God will step in to put all things right. In His own timing.

If you want to blame God and say it was satan, I don't think that will work on judgment day. As far as rain, i think some people have overpopulated places that will not support them.

Ultimately it's our fault. All that God and Satan can do to influence our behavior in our daily affairs is influence and suggest. It's all up to US and US alone whether or not we do good or evil.

Everything bad and wrong comes from Satan and following his way. Everything good belongs to God and his helping us do. Some calamities are God decreed - like a storm but derived from our bad deeds ; wars etc belong to our mistakes.

God has provided us this planet to inhibit; we have to work hard to improve our standards of life; you don't have to wait anybody to help you. Work, study and make researches. God helps those who help themselves!

We have been given brains to judge good and bad; theft is bad; killing is bad; adultery the same; nakedness bad; not cleaning ones self is bad etc. So we have to choose between good and bad; you don't have to blame others for your choices and actions. We are responsible of our deeds good or bad; that is the base of our reward in front of God.

Helping each other is good; keep order and peace is good; working for ones bread; learning and making a change in life etc. these are all good.

We have to understand so far we are good; God is good to us; so far we are bad we have to suffer for it sooner or later; until we repent and ask for forgiveness.

Satan is the head of all dirts and filth; bad and nasty things. His spirit became evil when he disobeyed his LORD in the heaven to prostrate to Adam in the ceremony of his creation. Satan was cursed and was fired by God Almighty for his disobedience. He was jealious to Adam and said Adam is created from clay and I was created out of fire heat; I am superior to him and will not celebrate his creation. He was kicked out and dismissed of any good things; fired and discharged by God.

He then promised to act against Adam and that he will mislead his children too. He cheated Adam and convinced Adam to eat the abolished tree. Satan and Adam plus Eve were all taken down to earth from the high heavens. Satan was thrown out from the top heavens down to earth.

This is a part of a saying of the prophet (Mohammed - Peace and mercy upon him) as regards to Satan:

Satan said to God -
Q) Now I am cursed and unwanted, vile and hateful - so where will be my home?
A) Toilets(we have been taught what to read when entering toilets so satan is blind; ref. to islamic studies)
Q) What will be my food?
A) Eat food with those who do not start there food with the praise and name of God.
Q) What will be my wholly teaching?
A) The poems
Q) What will be my drinking?
A) All narcotics
Q) I want to call my friends to do bad; in what way?
A) By music
Q) I need sitting and a waiting place for the folks?
A) Streets and market places
Q) What will be my catching-net for people?
A) Bad women

Finally, God Almighty told Satan that those who follow you and obey your way I will both you and them throw them to hell. My servents who reject you - you will not have any effect; you have no power unto them. I will reward them with forgiveness and heaven.

In another occasion " Oh! Childern of Adam Satan is your enemy; take him as an enamy." That means don't obey him to take his way. We have to always remember that he misled our dad - Adam.

This is the meaning of a long saying (hadith) of the prophet and might not be complete - this is what I remember about.
