Does my wheat pasta count as a *whole grain*?
And what is the difference?
When I read the labels of my standard pasta and my wheat pasta, there seems to be no real difference except my non-wheat also has thiamin, niacin, riboflavin and folic acid, and the wheat does not. Non-wheat also has a bit more iron.
Oh yes, and is there in issue with most of my *whole* grains coming from wheat? You know, wheat bread, brown rice, wheat pasta etc..
Just trying to make my grains, whole grains.
