a dividial is a new term which is the counterpart of factorial.
Example is 5dividial=5 / 4 / 3 / 2 / 1
where / means divide.
to find the "n"dividial you must use the formula
= n/(n-1)!
! means factorial

Application: when alternating proprotional factors come into play.

Depending on what you mean in the about example, I have come up with two possible answers (I'm sure both can't be right).

(1)
5/ 4/ 3/ 2/ 1 =
5/ 4/ 3/ 2 =
5/ 4 * 2/ 3 =
5/ 8/ 3 =
5/ * 3/ 8 =
15/ 8 = 1 7/ 8

(2)
n/ (n - 1)! =
5/ (5 - 1)! =
5/ (4)! =
5 / (4 * 3 * 2 * 1) = 5 / 24
5 / 24 = 0∙208 333 333...

hmmm..yeah...i agree..i also have a classmate that always ask that question...and..what a coincidence!! his name is also ralph..hehe..but i can't think of any application of that concept.....
