After having my kids i thought it would be nice to earn a little 'pocket money' in my own time, choosing my own hours and without anyone to answer to if my little one were ill.

After speaking to a few people they suggested i set up a secretarial services company. I thought about it and to me it seemed like a good idea. Offering my services to people or small companies such as plumbers, joiners, electricians etc even if this was just to do their quotes or invoices.

I did a mailing, got all of the addresses from the Yellow pages and had a very small number of replies.

In your opinion, do you not think this type of company is required or have i gone about it all the wrong way?

I am 250 pounds and need to lose 100 pounds or I will die. I can't jog because of my surgically repaired knee which gets swollen if I do. I can't swim because there's no pool within 100 miles.

I only eat once a day but I keep packing on the pounds.

I have had one of my dogs for about 4 years now. Yestday I was petting her and another of my dog came over wanting to be petted. The first dog jumped on her and they went at it. In the process I got bit. They have never done this before with each other but the first dog get get attacked by my english bulldog and we had to find a home for the bulldog. The bulldog was white and now she seems to act fear aggressive with my white dogs. What can I do to get her over this?

My 16 yr old has her permit - she needs to drive to get the required hours. On inquiry, my insurance company wants 1500 bucks (Michigan ) to add her to one of (a 98 CRV ) my vehicles. Plain extortion if you ask me. What are my options? I don't have named exclusions on my policy - can she drive without being a named or unnamed driver for that matter - and still be covered? My bf and I stared goung out about a month ago (hes 24,im 20). We had sex for the first time on Valentine's day, and he went really quickly,we ahd it again later that night, and the same thing. he sid i 'over stimulated' him. I wanted to have sex last tuesday and he kept saying he was too tired. we ended up having sex quickly and then he stopped and just wanted to cuddle. This weekend, we went away with a bunch of friends. we had our own room and he still didnt try anything. On saturday night, i really wanted to,we were about to then he said he ws tired again. I DONT GET THIS!!! Not to be conceited, but i am a pretty girl.Ive overheard his friends telling him how hot they think i am, so i dont think that hes not sexually attracted to me. So then what is it? I think we should be having more sex than this...I just dont know how to bring it up without sounding weird. I just REALLY dont understand what the problem is!!!!!!!

I interpret the answers to mean that it is possible for someone who is an Atheist to be a moral person. It is even further explained why Atheists are moral.

Some, and not all, suggest that Bible is needed for morality. Were humans moral before the Bible in its current form was approved in the fourth century Christian Era?

Some suggest God is necessary, but if so, how are Atheists able to be moral decent human beings if they haven't asked "God" into their hearts or minds?

I mean this as an open question for discussion.

My sister has been dating this guy. She had heard "rumors" about 2 mo ago that he was still seeing his ex-girlfriend. He stated that they were just really good friends. Well during the Holidays she found out that they had "met for drinks". No big deal. She really isnt the jealous type. But then the ex began calling him at 2am .
So my sister called her one day & inquired about the rumors.They had a very polite and friendly conversation & The Girlfriend denied it. said they were "just friends" not knowing that sis knew about the phone calls. Didnt bring it up.
Well, her boyfriend found out about the phone call. Was upset for about 3 days but then said he forgave her and understood why she would feel alarmed. Well last week he kinda blew up and told her he was still "Pissed" because now his Ex wasnt even talking to him anymore. So my sis (being very kind and naive)tried to call her and apologize. He found out and blew up and broke up with her.
Now She wants advice from me... HELP!!
