prefferable supervised. She's coming for the summer. I wanted to put her in a camp or class of some sort. She's really into video games and anime. Any suggestions (and pricing)?

It doesn't matter if its outside or inside. And it doesn't have to be related to video games or anime.

There are several arcades in Houston. you can take her to the village aracade where she can play some games and you can do some shopping (game are between 0.25 and 1.00/ game). You could also take her to Mountasia to play games and ride the go-karts 100 tokens iare $20. and you can get an unlimited ride pass for $15.

hope this helps

Gee, I don't know. I was going to make a smart-guy comment and say, "Well, she can drive!" but that isn't what you are looking for.

Video games and anime. Sounds like camp would be a bad idea for her, unless you WANT to get her outdoors. When I was 16 I had a full-time summer job, 9-5. That was my summer. I went out to movies with my friends an evening or two a week, and on weekends, but also worked either a Saturday or a Sunday. For some reason, high school kids don't seem to want these jobs anymore. A job will occupy her summer, plus give her spending money.

Just a thought...

One problem I've noticed with kids nowadays is that they just want to stay inside and play games, or sit in front of the PC going into chatrooms or texting their other stay-indoors friends.

Do a google search for chilrens activities in the area. For example, Camping or art.You might also want to contact the chamber of commerce for Houston Tx to see what info they can provide you with.
