Little Mary was in the garden filling in a hole when her neighbor peered over the fence. Interested in what the cheeky-faced youngster was up to, he politely asked, "What are you up to there, Mary?"
"My goldfish died," replied Mary tearfully, without looking up, "and I've just buried him."
The neighbor was concerned, "That's an awfully big hole for a goldfish, isn't it?"
Mary patted down the last heap of earth then replied, "That's because he's inside your cat."

This surprisingly common argument reflects several levels of ignorance about evolution. The first mistake is that evolution does not teach that humans descended from monkeys; it states that both have a common ancestor.

The deeper error is that this objection is tantamount to asking, "If children descended from adults, why are there still adults?" New species evolve by splintering off from established ones, when populations of organisms become isolated from the main branch of their family and acquire sufficient differences to remain forever distinct. The parent species may survive indefinitely thereafter, or it may become extinct.

i've had a lot of experiences, most unprotected ones.

i've read an article on Yahoo Health that if i'll have these "flu-like" symptoms then i am infected with it.... but ever since i started having sex i never had fever and colds... should i rely on this?

or should i get tested? Do you think i'm HIV+?

Like neanderthal man, the various Homo - ...

What are these supposed to be then, if not man's pre-evolutionary forms?

This has probably been asked before but I never saw it, so excuse it if it's a stale question.

We have an unfinished basement and I was wondering do we have to put drywall up and tape?
Is there any other way to make a basement warm and comfortable. We have a rough-in for a bathroom but thats is not mandatory. We would mostly use it for a teenagers bedroom and rec/tv room. There is storage also.
Thank you

I'm on holiday in France when the 7th Harry Potter book comes out and I'm gutted and can't change the holiday, so if anyone knows of any English book stores in Monaco they think might sell it that'd be fantastic!

Sorry its a very random questions but I'm trying to find some place I'll be able to buy it as I'm a little desperate!

I smell really bad. I can bathe, and a couple of hours later I begin to smell myself. It is quite embarrassing. I don't get too close to anyone, cause I don't want them to smell me.
IS there anything I can do to help this?

When I was growing up pork, chicken, turkey, lamb, beef and some game were the norm. Nowadays you hear of nearly anything that moves being consumed e.g. ostrich, kangaroo etc. The thought of a shark having its fin cut off for soup and then the remainder slung back to sea is hideous. Man needs to get organised before it is too late for many species.
Surely the conflict needs sorting - half the population slaughters these animals and the other half fights to save them.
