It dosn't really impact how much perspiration you produce (other than your arm pit might be *slightly* warmer from the scant insulation the hair provides. But what it does do is hold the perspiration in the area. I think I remember it being 30x the amount of sweat more than if one was hairless… but I’m not confident on that specific number. Again like someone mentioned the more moisture, the better breeding ground for the bacteria that produce BO. And primitive man/woman found BO attractive, like an ancient perfume.

Armpit hair will trap the bacteria that form in the presence of sweat. Perspiration is one method our bodies use to cool off. So, armpit hair contributes to the odor that develops from perspiration. Have a nice day.

Neither. You sweat the same with or without hair. However the sweat evaporates somewhat more quickly if you have hair, and the hair also cuts down on chafing, which leads to skin irritation. If you have so much hair that your deodorant can't get to the skin, you might want to thin it out a little, but it's generally better to wash frequently and leave the hair alone.
