I was told by a lawyer, even if you can not be reached because you move, that your wages con NOT be garnished without "in person" notification. I got a letter from my late mom, about a year after there was supoosed to be some court ruling on a credit card debt. The debt was on a $200 maximum balence card. I think when I started seeing on my pay check $73 taken out that it was il-legal, because I personally was never notified of such a court ruling, such a proceedure to garnish my wages. I know I more than paid back what I owed on this $200 maximum credit card. When it first came up on my credit card balence, the company investigated and concluded, it was no identy theft, no credit card fraud. It wasn't me, and I still say I should've never owed any garnishment at all. Was I a victum of garnishment fraude and is this a common practice?

My Sofa is set across my lounge and is not against a wall. Behind it is my PC trolley. Does anyone know any way to stop the sofa sliding?

I have tried the non-slip mat you can get and it's helped but still isn't great as any weight on it compresses it and stops it working. Any ideas anyone?

All I can think is a door stop behind the leg but that means damaging my carpet!

Ok, so about two weeks ago, I met this girl and we started hanging out. I think she is one of the coolest people I've ever met - she's really pretty, she's funny, and I love her style. She kind of reminds me of a guy with the way she acts, talks, dresses (she's a total tomboy.) Hanging out with her is like being with a guy.

Anyway, I find myself thinkin about her a lot - I can't imagine doing anything sexual with her, but I always wonder where she is, and wish that I could be hanging out with her. So all this obsessing has me wondering whether I am like, subconsiouly sexually attracted to her? Or maybe because I'm at an all-women's college I'm feeling guy depraved and when I'm around anything or anyone that resembles a guy I go crazy.

I really don't think that I'm at all sexually attracted to her (I looove guys), but I really admire her and wish that I could be more like her. This sounds so pathetic and weird and it's creeping me out. I'm usually so confident in who I am. Advice?

I have a wireless network, and I have shared the wireless card thinking that my PS2 could use that to access the router which is connected to the Web.
Are there any other ways to connect my PS2 to the Web wirelessly or with little wiring as possible? Wiring the PS2 to the router is not an option: the router's downstairs and the PS2 is upstairs.
