We just moved into a new home together. We've been together for 2yrs. And he's very mature for his age. When were together no one would guess our age difference if we never told them. His parents approve, so does the rest of the family. He is an only child so he has no sibling.

I was in a serious relationship with a 52 year old woman and I am 36. There is nothing wrong with two consenting adults who have developed feelings for each other. That is what life is all about, exploring, sharing, learning.

You say the both of you are happy? Them I’m happy for you too.

I don't see anything wrong with what the two of you are doing, great for you two to find each other, ages is only a number. So go and enjoy your new home and I wish the both of you the best and long life together.

If only all of us could find that special someone to be with, the world would be a better place. God bless you two

It relies upon completely upon the guy. there is not any one feeling that each physique 40 two twelve months previous men could have a pair of 27 twelve months previous female. some will flow after a youthful female by way of fact of as midlife disaster. some men would be searching for a woman they think of they could contreol. Others will experience no longer something greater advantageous than paternal emotions for a youthful female. nevertheless others will basically be searching for that youthful "eye candy." finally, some could have actual loving emotions in direction of her. that's a huge age difference. some couples could have a healthful relationship, some can no longer.

If you didn't have some doubts about this relationship, you wouldn't be questioning it! Are you worried about what Society thinks or how he will feel in another 10 years when you are 52(my age) and he is 39(my nephew's age)? You will be going through menopause and he is going to start looking at 29 year old girls!

Why would it be "wrong". Age has nothing to do with mutual attraction and love between adults. One thing that troubles me is that you point out he is "very mature for his age". You are trying to justify it to us so that tells me you are uncomfortable. My advise is to just forget about age. No one really cares how old you guys are. Honest! Just enjoy and love each other well. Care for and respect the other. That's what is important.

Why worry about this? Don't dwell on the 'age' issue or it could hurt your relationship. You are both of age and can make your own decisions. You've been together for 2 years so you both have qualities that the other admires and enjoys.

I am in a relationship very similar. We have been married for 8 years and everything you have said fits us exactly. My wife is 10 years older than I am and when we are out, nobody would ever be able to tell. We are in love. Even if others didn't approve....Love is love. Good for you guys!!!!

i wouldn't date someone with that big of an age difference. what's gonna happen when you get old before him? is he gonna wanna be strapped down to an old lady who cant do anything and needs to be taken care of all the time? i say the relationship wont last in the long run.

It's really not a matter of right or wrong. Are you ok with it? I persoanlly would feel uncomfortable if my wife was 13 years older than me. When men in general have a bad track record of being attracted to younger women ... to me it's just setting yourself up to fail.

Why would it be wrong? You don't find love, it finds YOU. Age should not matter as long as you love and respect each other. I once dated someone who was 11 years younger than me. Go and be happy! Life's too short.
