I had the same problem, until I made short term goals. I would pick out clothes that I couldnt fit anymore and say ...ok I will fit into these jeans by March 15th. Try them on once a week and it will get you motivated to work out. That or buy some cute pants that are one size too small.
Short term goals are the way to go, then it doesnt look so daunting to lose all the weight
Good Luck, stick to it!

Well you need a healthy diet and exercise. You should get a food and exercise journal. Find a kind of exercise you like, for example taking walks outside, working out in a gym, running, tennis, yoga...etc. Trying this will lead you into good habits and your body will get used to these habits and before you know it you will be less lazy and getting healthier.

Put a picture of someone you admire who's thin in a place where you can see it all the time.
Remind yourself that Rome wasn't built in a day.
You have to keep on exercising to have the good effects from it.
I don't allow myself to get on the computer till I've ridden my exercise bile for 30 min.
Make a list of other things you like to do, and ONLY do them after you've exercised.
Eat properly too!

I would find something you enjoy doing, I really like TaeBo and he's definitely big on the thighs, I could feel the muscles in mine after a week. The more you do any type of workout the more it becomes part of your routine and the easier it is to do. I would just stick with it, then it will become more natural.

I find it easier to exercise if I break it up into 15 minute sessions a few times a day. It's easier to get yourself motivated if you don't try to make yourself do it for an hour straight and you're more likely to have 15 extra minutes between other stuff you have to do.

come up with a way to reward yourself for doing the excercise daily, you know a few of your favorite cookies or a serving of chips. to lose weight you have to take in less calories than you are burning a day, healthy diet..veggies cut out sugary drinks i have started this recently and lost almost 15 pounds. when you are aware of what you are eating and make an effort to stop it works..drink lots and lots of water...good luck
