Do you think yo ucan make love without being in love?

Hello,

I'm 15 years old and i've been practising Shotokan karate since i was 7 years old or so.
I've seen some Jeet Kune Do videos last night along with some Bruce Lee footage, and i just loved it, which pretty much left me in confuse.
Is Karate a bad choice for self defence?

In kumite, you're allways in the low fighting stance, and to be honest, I dont know how that would work in a real fight.
In karate, the only punch you ever really use is the "geyagotsoki" (i know that's not how you spell it) but in Jeet Kune Do it's so much more than that, and the defence techniques in Karate are pretty much just blocks and are nothing compared in the ones in Jeet Kune Do.

I just can't imagine myself in a real fight using my Karate teachings, but i dont feel the same when it comes to Jeet Kune Do.

Im going to India in 2 weeks on a tour of the North - iv had all my injections but im debating whether to take anti malaria tablets or not. My own GP said "dont bother". But i am still a little worried as mozzies do find me tasty! lol what do you reckon?

Iran is an independant sovereign country. What gives USA the right to demand that Iran must cease nuclear activity, that it cannot develop nuclear power and that it has no right if it so wishes to use the byproduct for military development as the USA already does.

When Dick Cheney was specifically asked if the USA had plans to attack Iran his best answer was that he could not rule out anything.

By what right can the USA attack, or even threaten to attack, another country for developing technology which many other countries already have and when the USA is even spending billions of dollars to upgrade their own nuclear arsenal.

I don't see how anyone can reasonably argue with the response of the president of Iran when he said that he was willing to agree to discontinue nuclear activity before comming to the negotiating table providing that the same rule applied to every country at the table, including the USA.

Should we hold those who used steriods before they were against the rules of baseball 2006 season to a higher standard than we hold pictures who doctor balls (against the rules for a long time) or corked a bat?

If we keep a player out of the Hall of Fame for steriods should we kick out every player in the Hall of fame who was ever proven to have cheated in a way that is against the rules?

we live in seperate homes as of last march,because he says I dont trust him(hes a massage therapist,in our home,women only)and one eve I got upset girl in our house 1am..well he says Im disobiedient,because he told me the truth and I insisted on more answers,(he cheated before we married) story short,I was put out,5 mos married....we are christians,my hubby teaches bible,and is saught after to teach,I live a few blocks away,we still have considerd ourselves married just living seperate and working on it...well Ive done alot of questioning lately and called the cops once,and now hes on a singles web site,and he says "he wants a divorce because he cant trust "me.,because I am disobiedient and not on his side.,he has drawn up the pappers about 4 or 5 times...look I dont want to stay...but biblcally I cannot leave,he says its off &on ,there has been no actual infidelity proven...I am serious about my vows,and what if he files(woowoo) will I be damned???he says we can divorce...no script..

Or do you just pass it by without a care or realizing it is there.... i see beauty in everything in this life....i see it in my son's smile, i see it in my partners eyes when he looks at me, i see it when a stranger helps an old lady to cross the street, i see it when two friends hug each other, and in the colours of an autumn leaf such simple things, but beautiful.....so in a cruel hard world do you still take the time to see the the beauty of this world?
