Last week at my job. You see, I worked for this company as a driver that wanted me to act in a way different from how I am as a person. I am friendly and very talketive, a real people person. They wanted me to be cold and unmentioning and calculated in order to keep my job. I was let go last monday. I don't know, but I drove trucks and did manly things and yet, I cry at movies and weddings and I love certain types of movies that some say are not manly. I love children very much and I absolutly love helping the less fortunate and yet, they wanted me to fold the old "MOLD". Thats like fitting a square building block in a round hole. It just doesn't fit. I am a man but I feel for people and I love others. Is that so bad or wrong? You tell me.
I was married once and everyone said I needed to be "THE MAN!". When I tried that my marriage fell apart. I mean we are so backwards! Image, HUH! What the heck do people know anyway. Why can't we just be who we are anymore HUH!!!? I get so fed up with people sometimes. I get made fun of because my favorite movies are Patch Adams, Music of the Heart, and Mr. Hollands Opus. So what!! I have a heart! Oh gee wiz! I am a man who's not dead in the heart. Is that so bad!

I feel that way all the time. I think people or some don't take the time to see the whole picture

All the time....
They see me as a well put together go getter who has a good head on their shoulders...
What they don't know...I am a fragile...confused person who still cries myself to sleep at night...sometimes...
I have an image to uphold...so I dont let them see this side of me...

Alllllll the time, but to be fair : most of that is my 'fault".
(LOL, I've got a "happy face" stashed away, which I put on every time I need to go out, does the trick perfectly)
