i have a firend who wants to go camping with some friends on her birthday and she's turning 13.. but her mom said no becasue its too complicated.. is there some way to make it work?

To the consternation of the painter standing on it, the upper end is slipping down the wall at a constant rate of 2 feet/sec. The lower end is, therefore, sliding along the sidewalk. Having had a course in the Calculus, the painter is, of course, interested in how fast the lower end is moving. If the ladder is 25 feet long, how fast is the lower end moving when the upper end is 7 feet above the ground?

My son is two months and various people in my family wants him to stay overnight at their homes. My family has always been big keeping each other children. I don't like the idea of my baby being without me just yet. Some of my family members are offended, and my mom said if my baby could talk he would call me a dumb mother.

She thinks she is fat because she was watching her new bratz movie and she didn't look like those dolls on it? How do I tell her she is not fat I keep telling her that but she isn't listening. She isn't eating anything. And she is not fat because she weighs 49 pounds! What do i tell her. I am tired of her whining I ran out of ideas!

I've been dating a guy for 2 and a half years. We live 3 hours apart, but it has never been a problem. Our relationship has been great until about 3-4 months ago. He will not go home for days and turns off his phone so no one can contact him. The past few times he was going to come visit me he never even showed up, not calling me and telling me he's not coming and turning off his phone so I can't contact him, leaving me to sit all day looking out the window for him. A lot of the time I think he's acting like a immature 9-year-old crying for attention. He tells me all the time that he loves me and wants to see me.. but I just don't know anymore. He's suppose to visit me in 4 days for my birthday and I don't even know if he's coming since he's been ignoring me and his family for the past 4 days. Even sending me a text saying "You won't hear or see me ever again." at 3:30am. I don't know if I should leave him or try and see if I can fix things again..

A water tank has an inlet pipe and a drain pipe. A full tank can be emptied in 30 minutes if the drain is opened and an empty tank can be filled in 45 minutes with the inlet pipe opened. If both pipes are accidetally opened when the tank is full, then how long will it take to empty the tank?

Ok I am doing a project for school about homelessness and if you could answer these questions that would be great. Any church groups, boy/girl scouts, or nonprofit type orginizations such as family shelters or food drives are what I'm looking for.

I've heard that if you have ok grades but you're very active in clubs and sports you can get into a good university.

But what if you have good grades but are not very involved in school activities? Would it be harder to get into a good school than if you have ok grades and are very involved?

I guess my questions is, which one's more important, grades of extracurricular activities?
