if a man leaves his wife because she is a nasty,controlling ***** why after being divorced for 6 yrs does he still allow her to call all the shots if thats the reason he left her in the 1st place?its not that he regrets his decision he could have her back in 2 secs but they do have a child together(joint custody)

me and my boyfriend never talk. This is our third time going out because we both believe that we will talk the next time, but nothing is happening. I'm not really sure what to say either, and the only thing he asks me is about dance, wich im known for i guess. A couple of days ago my mom was over visiting my boyfriend and I. She had to go pick up a few things she needed from the store so I let her borrow my car. When she was backing out of the driveway, she accidently ran over my cat. When she came and told us, I was really, really sad... but now I feel even more sad for my mom. She has been extremely upset about what happened. From the moment it happened until now she has barely stopped crying. I told her I know it was a accident and that I'm okay, but I know she still feels awful. She is such a sweet, caring, and loving person... I hate that this happened! I really miss my cat but I want my mom to know that I don't blame her for this at all! Is there anything else I can say to make her feel better? Should I just give her some time to get over it? I just can't stand to see her feeling so guilty, she is such a kind person.
