me and my boyfriend never talk. This is our third time going out because we both believe that we will talk the next time, but nothing is happening. I'm not really sure what to say either, and the only thing he asks me is about dance, wich im known for i guess. Can anyone tell me what are good subjects to talk to him about?(and how to approach him) I would also like to know if i should try to do anything during recess (ps. im 14)

You know when they say puppy love you should try to be friends and then be more because you only are in a relationship because you think it will be better than what it wa sthe times before. Talk to him about school, home, and about the things you could try in the relationship but don't have any unprotected interactions though!

You're too young to be in a relationship, you still have recess. You have so much time ahead of you. Why bother now? It'll only get you into trouble.
Wait til your 16 so you know that the guy can at least take you out on a date in a car and not at the playground. When you get older you start to learn more about yourself and the world around you.
To me it sounds like you guys don't have much in common if you can't think of anything to talk about. Do you know the type of music he likes? What he wants to be when he grows up? His favorite food? His favorite color? Start with the basics. But it's best to be friends first I think. Good luck!

Ask him about his family, future plans, pets, etc. Play the "which do you like better" game (ie, pepsi or coke, nike or adidas). You could ask him what his dream vacation would be. Ask him where he sees himself in 10 years. Anything like that. Listen to his answers and ask him questions about the things he says. You should definitely try to talk to him during recess. Just go sit beside him and act like nothing's different. Hope this helps! : )

sweetie you need to figure out why u guys don't talk? is it because he is shy? or are u shy? or u guys don't know what to talk about? do u feel out of place when ur with him? do u feel uncomfortable? how did u guys start dating? did he ask u out? if yes then why do u think he asked you out? did u guys ever talk and hang out before you started dating? ask yourself why you don't ahve anything to talk about. or do u feel like u do most of the talking and he never has anything to talk about? Figure out if you two have things and interests in common and if not or if its uncomfy or not fun to be aroud each other then maybe you should talk to him and perhaps stop going out and be friends. just be yourself, you shouldn't have to think about how to act or what to say around your bf and if u do..then hes not the guy to be spending time with. good luck

ddduuuuuuddeee......whats hard about talking....u being a girl i assume u do it all the time! i mean com e on ur 14....im sure you can manage.....talk bout school...what you wanna do wen u leave, movies, music, interests.......shouldnt you know SOMETHING bout him before u started going out the FIRST time.....my sister at leat can talk to her bf, and shes only 9! just chill. u dont gotta do anything u dont wanna, but talking, i think ull b able to manage. u wont get AIDS from that u know! xx

maybe you just don't have much in common...maybe you really would do better being good friends instead of the pressure of boy and girlfriend...talk to him about it...you may learn a lot more about each other that way
