Is it because then man is no different from animals? We die like pigs, with nothing more... does that make you sad?

I think it might be that most people are just too intellectually lazy (and dishonest) to do the work in their mind, and realize there is no god, no heaven, no afterlife of any kind. There's simply no evidence for any of it, and people only believe because they want to. It makes them feel better.

It seems a bit weak to me... the idea that we believe something is true simply because it makes us feel better, but that's what it amounts to.

Why can't modern Christians see that their god is fake just like Zeus? They reject Zeus without a 2nd thought!! HOW can it be SO easy for them to reject ZEUS, yet they remiain TOTALLY BLIND to the fact that their god is just as fake??

Help me atheists!! Help me understand these Christians!!

Somehow, NOTHING about Anna Nicole surprises me any more. I always thought her relationship with her son Daniel just didn't look right at all....would anyone else be shocked if it turned out that DANIEL was the real father of that baby???????? Because, I wouldn't be!

Two parts:
1) From the perspective of someone in sri lanka, when will the moon, sun, and jupiter appear in or near the the constellation cancer, especially near the lower left star and middle two stars. I realize the sun would prevent anyone from viewing it.

2) When will all three conjoin/superimpose in this area.

God is with us all the time due to His omnipotence, but the difference between you and Jesus or Moses or Muhammad would be that these people were with God too. They were with Him at heart and actions and followed His requests.

Jesus was one such person, so if the Bible is full of figurative speech, why would it be wrong to conclude Jesus meant a very spiritual thing when he said he and God were one, and not really the convergence of their beings as one, but more on the same understanding due to him being chosen by God to speak to the Jews?

i have a child with hirchsprungs d, he takes senna daily. scince starting school i ve had problems in getting them to understand his condition and how it affects him and his behavior. and how important it is he sticks to a diet and a toilet routeen.and how improtant it is he drinks plenty ect.. i need to get info so i can give it to them to back up what im saying. i cant find any on how bowel problems affect behavior . can any one help???

I'm planning on coloring my hair then styling it, i have dirty blond hair with natural red highlights (the scottish and irish) and i was just wondering, would a light blond (highlights) look good with my natural hair color or would another color look better? What I mean is, I remember reading a Bible scripture about:

The heaven, even the heavens, are the LORD's; but the earth he has given to the children of men (Psalm 115:16).

If he GAVE earth to man, how can he come back and repossess it later? I think the Bible says he returns later to take back the earth, but how can he do that since he GAVE it away to man?

Isn't that stealing? Would love your response to this! Thanks!

im using Visual basic 6.0 as front end and ms access as back end.
this is my problem:everytime i add a new record, it will not reflect immediately on the data report (which is bound to a data environment) when i view it, unless i will close and reopen the entire program. how can i view the newly added records on the data report without closing the entire program? what's the code? in what event shall i place the code? pls reply asap. thanks a lot.
