God is with us all the time due to His omnipotence, but the difference between you and Jesus or Moses or Muhammad would be that these people were with God too. They were with Him at heart and actions and followed His requests.

Jesus was one such person, so if the Bible is full of figurative speech, why would it be wrong to conclude Jesus meant a very spiritual thing when he said he and God were one, and not really the convergence of their beings as one, but more on the same understanding due to him being chosen by God to speak to the Jews?

Jesus isn't God, it wasn't even a consideration of the early church until about 1000 AD. Then the early church fathers had a big fight, and essentially killed off all the Christians who believed Jesus was a mortal man. It was wrong them, it is wrong now, and really what difference does it make? Descended from God, or actually God, a child of God or a part of God like we all are...

That's a question that some christians would agree with you on, and others not. The whole idea of the trinity.

I think it might have been both figurative and literal.
I do think Jesus was born of God's flesh, and might have spoken for God, but was not God itself.

Doesn't make sense if he were because God does not need to sacrifice his own mortal form as a sign of good faith and sacrifice to himself. Nor does he need that to forgive humanity for its sins.

If for no other reason, that it's not a true sacrifice if he's lost nothing.

enable me ask this, if mankind fell from God`s grace and friendship and being in a state of insurrection how ought to a guy redeem the fallen race if all have been contaminated with unique sin. no count how reliable a guy or woman could be and we've some examples in Abraham,Noah etc, he nevertheless ought to under no circumstances make up for the autumn. The question has to seen, did God manufacture an exceedingly reliable individual and deliver him into the international to advance it from this state of insurrection? the respond must be no, God must be actual to Himself and this suggests being actual to His Holy Justice. God`s justice demanded delight for the insult to His love and Justice and no creature under God ought to ever restoration the steadiness. So in the fullness of time God Himself grew to alter into one like us in all issues yet sin and Jesus is the incarnation of the countless God; word that Jesus interprets as `God Saves` How did God be waiting to redeem us and yet proceed to be actual to His nature and His holy justice? He did this by potential of housing (in case you like) His divine nature in a human physique, Jesus is completely human and entirely Divine and not the rest can answer the question of redemption in this manner of way. `previously Abraham replaced into, `i'm` pronounced Jesus completely showing His divinty, and yet through fact the Son of guy He ought to humble Himself and commentary; `Why do you call Me reliable, in simple terms God is powerful`` Jesus Christ, one guy or woman wherein subsists 2 natures, human and divine.

He did mean it figuratively. What happen is that you got bunch of different religions together to come up with the definition of God so they had to change some thing to make everyone happy. Thanks to The Nicene Creed.

Jesus told us that each of us are a part of God.

He himself was not an exception to this rule, nor were any of the others that you mentioned.

OK, if God was in flesh, then humans killed him! .. do u REALLY believe in THIS God? who is that helpless that normal people can crucify him?? and he can only weep and bleed?
Please don't disgrace God, He is Almighty, everlasting and All powerful.. he doesn't sleep, eat, bleed, cry....or.... die!
Peace to Jesus, who was the true Prophet and Messenger of God.

The bible contains not only figurative....but metaphors....hyperbole.....and the most important one of all:
The Truth.

Christ was indeed God in the flesh.

You either have to believe that......or you don't.
