They are 12 & 13 yr old girls.

He was MIA for many yrs, then about 4 yrs ago he decided to get involved. (Well, not MIA exactly... he knew where we were & I knew where he was... he just wasnt interested... we were only about 8 miles apart.)

The younger child NEVER bonded with him. The older one did. They saw each other a few hours every other weekend. Then, last year, he went MIA again...

This Christmas I put both girls in contact with his mom (who he lives with) b/c his dad is dying and I didnt think it should be HIS choice to deny the girls &his parents these last few mos.

Now he continually harasses them through nasty text messages on their cells. (No we cant block)

Current court order that says
~visitation is at the discretion of my girls & their counselor
~he must participate in counseling & pay for it (he doesnt)

He has 2 more children that are younger than mine. He treats them the same way.

How do I keep my girls from internalizing his behavior?

The evening is when I become most aware of how lonely I feel. Thoughts of ending things usually occur at night and are gone by morning. So, I wonder if there is some trend among suicide victims that shows more suicides at night than in the day time...

Can anyone please help me with the title of this book-I have no author, only a description. Its a coming of age of sorts about a teenage girl growing up in the late 1970's, her first love & eventual discovery that her best friend (Jeff?) is gay. It also involves a group of teens involved in community theatre. When its discovered Jeff is gay, he is 'tarred & feathered'. I'd say it was published late 70's, 80's. A repeated line in the book is from Jeff- "it's true, I've done research on it". Any answers appreciated!

If you are the bride and the groom had a name like patio, roof, stairwell, gutter, etc.
Would you take his name?
What if you could add one or two letters to the grooms name and it would a cool name!??!
Would or should you change it (both of you together)
It would save your future children being made fun of !!
Would you do it??
Why or why not?
Then both of you COULD change it to the cool name.


Here is another idea....
Put the two names together with brides last name such as:
patiotaylor,roofmiller, patiosmith, stairwellmiller etc.
This is a real question!!

i have a problem. im 14 and my sister is 15. you can immagine we but-heads all the time.. but heres the problem..

she has serious issues with my mom and is always fighting.. it seems typical for a 15 year old daughter to fight but they are really loud and mean and hurtful fights.. this puts tension on the WHOLE family... and really hurts me. i never want to be around my sister anymore.. shes always grumpy.. my mom is always upset and hurt.. and my dad is angrry because all they do is fight. this really tears me apart because she is always having fun and getting into trouble.. and im like the good child. i never go out. i never get in trouble. i never have fun because i dont want to be a neusence. what should i do? ive confronted my dad but get NOTHING back.??

It looks kind of like a heart... but that has nothing to do with anything. okay, what I know is, it is red, smooth spots on my skin, like a permanent blush. It is on my upper thigh. It is jokingly referred to as a sharkbite, but I don't know if that is done elsewhere, or if it just a family thing. I've had them since birth, and they are apparently usually smaller, and fade by the time a person is a few years old. I would love to know what it is actually called, preferably before shorts season this year (starts in about 2-3 weeks where I live) because I am tired of people asking, and me not knowing.
