I read that 'The letter (jiim) is pronounced as [g] instead of [j] in Upper Egyptian, e.g., [gamiil] instead of [jamiil], 'beautiful.' '

First of all is this statement accurate?

Second is it possible that someone from Alexandria (which is Lower Egypt right?) pronouns (jiim) as [g] as in [gamiil]? If they pronounce it this way what might this mean about their background or origin? I am just wondering because a friend told me they are from Alexandria but I am curious about their dialect...

I know this question has been asked before but now I need my own answers.

I have really thick hair and I own a ceramic straightener.

This is how I straighten my hair, I wash it, blow dry , comb it and then just start straightening.

Should I be putting an gel or spray in between or after?
And when I straighten my hair, the ends do not straighten properly, they are still a bit frizzy. And I start from the scalp like the directions say.
Please help, what should I be doing?!

My daughter is almost 5 months old. She has great head control and has been very strong since birth. My question is what age did you take your child on a bike ride. Its cold her now so we would not even think about a bike ride til she is about 7 or 8 months old. We have a seat that attaches to a bike, but were considering buying a pull behind trailer. We only ride on a bike trail. And she has a helmet. What do you think? Would it be okay? Which one would you use the seat or the pull behind trailer? What age did you take your child on a bike ride?

I am 36 weeks and 2 days prego with my first baby. When I went for my OB visit on Tuesday, she did a cervical exam and told me that my baby's head is down, I was 1/2 cm dialated, and she was pretty surprised and happy to say that I was 70% effaced also. She said this could mean the baby will be here before my due date which is March 20th. I think so too from the way things are going. I have been getting some mild contractions and some cramping in left and right side abdomen.
Now uptil last week I was getting some discharge like a few drops of either clear discharge or a pearly white discharge that was as smooth as milk and had no odor. I read the books and it said that is normal. Now from 2 days since my appt, I have noticed especially last night...there were 4 times throughout the evening when i was having a discharge and the same amount, like a few drops each time. When I checked two times I noticed the discharge to be a little thicker/almost a pale yellow in color. It looked

Ive been sick for 3 days and my nose runs all the time. While im at school i dont always have a chance to blow my nose so i swallow the mucos from time to time. Now my stomach hurts for no reason, is it possible that the mucos is causing the problem?

I am about 6-7 weeks and going in for my first Ultrasound at 11 this morning. Do I need to have a full blader or does it matter. The doctor didnt tell me anything other then to set a date. ok i heard this song from my friend and he dosnt know the name or the artist. so can anyone help me please. its some italian guy at the beggining saying about a peice of toast on his plate and then some heavy club music starts. then the guy speaks again and he wants a fork on the table, yet again more club music. then he says he wants a sheet on his bed. thats all i heard. anyone got any clues to what this is?
