Overall, I'd say that it's getting better, but I don't think we'll see notable changes until '08.

That's just my speculation.

Its great if you are buyer, still quite stagnant if you are a seller though.

Despite what the media sais, the American economy is strong and housing markets will always go in cycles. So this is bound to change at some point soon.

I live in the South and it is ridiculous. No slowdown here at all. We were booming before the hurricanes and now it can only be described as a severe boom. Like a dream!

I don't think so, we have had a few houses for sale in my neighborhood for months.
