While ignoring the general major depressive side of me, I am specifically concerned about the hypomanic aspect. It seems that so often, almost always in the wee hours of the early morning (midnight, etc.) suddenly, after being generally lethargic and tired throughout most of the day, I can just get this major second wind. I gain ton of energy, can't stop pacing the floors and feel incredibly creative. I can't sleep and am up all night, full of ideas... my dream is to be a big musician in the industry and suddenly - and I know this sounds looney - but when I'm in this mode, I'll start getting feelings of grandeur. Playing music and pretending it's me and that I am this incredible superhuman musician that's writing all these ingenius songs. I'll be performing it, dancing, doing crazy movements that I can't help. Also being a songwriter, sometimes songs will just come to me instantly and I'll be recording all into the night, almost unstoppable and not even realizing the time.

THIS is the REAL real dividing line between what people CLAIM they believe, and what they really believe. Despite what many think, religious faith in our society is a luxury, and one that most people abandon at the moment of truth.

When all else fails, people will cry to god, but by that time they are in a pure survival instinct mode, and will say anything. When given the possibility of being rescued by the hands of technology, people inevitably ask to be saved by technology.

If you ever get to witness the hypocrisy of "faith" you will understand what I mean.

convex means "not regular", right? the sides aren't congruent...?

Hitler was elected. He was a popular ruler. He was up front and honest about his views of fascism and racial superiority. Germans supported him until the bombs started falling.

Those nations had slaughtered Jews before Hitler.....and many of them (Poland, Norway, Czeck, France, the Baltic States, Western Russia) made no efforts to save any of their populations.

Nations that wanted to save their Jewish populations laregely did (Bulgaria, Denmark).

Instead of focusing on Hitler, should we be focusing on the values, traditions, and attitudes of those societies?

I have always been serious athlete. I set a # of steroid free deadlift records for my state from 84-90. three years ago I decide I wanted to deadlift over 700 or close before i was too old, am too old.

I have been training hard, and a new drugfree(steroids free) sanctioned organization has current state record for my bobyweight is 551. I have done five reps with that on many occasions in training. I have pulled a 635 x 1- raw(no equiptment) a number of times. That would be close to 700 with equipment, @47.
On Dec 5, 2006 I had a freak fall on ice from a big ice storm, and tore quad away from knee, all of it. Deppresed about the future of it. I am a cripple at the moment. Been taking about 6-8 vicoden a day, cut down to 4 and experincing bad mood swings and horrible deppresion. Vicoden or my complete life change? If it is the vicoden, I am still going to need it for all my rehab.

Let's say I loan my car to a friend, who gets into an accident. Which one of us should file a claim with our insurance company? Both of us have good insurance. If I file with my company, will they raise my premium even though I wasn't driving? This is in California, btw.
