I'm interested in aerospace engineering and need to do a research project. I don't know what a good project idea would be? I want it to be something related to aerospace engineering that is interesting and a good idea for a research project.

Do something relating to aerodynamics. Research different wing configurations, and name their history, advantages, and disadvantages.

You might look at the use of composite material in the aerospace. The life time of many of the current programs may be determined by the availability of engineering grade metals.
