im doing my homework and it's mostly proofs. im dying here! please help me on this one, then maybe i can work from this one to do the rest. please! reply asap...

"The diagonals of a convex quadrilateral have lengths p and q and meet at an angle x (the book actually uses the symbol phi/feeeee, but i cant type that...). Derive a formula for the area of the quadrilateral.

convex means "not regular", right? the sides aren't congruent...?

your definition of convex does not seem to be right

A convex polygon of any number of sides is one in which if a line is drawn to connect any two points contained within it, the line does not fall outside the polygon. If the line does, then the polygon is called concave. Here's a link explaining this:
