Christians /Muslims/ Anybody... Does the Bible, Quran or any other holy book say that war is acceptable?

I know that one of the commandments is "Thou shall not murder." Is war an exception? What do the books say (if anything) to let one know that war is acceptable - or not?

Please don't get defensive or rude. This is simply a question - and I'm interested to know the answer.

Accused Terrorist Is Big GOP Donor

The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) won't say what it plans to do with thousands of dollars in campaign donations it received from an accused terror financier.

Abdul Tawala Ibn Ali Alishtari gave $15,250 to the NRCC since 2002, according to FEC records published on the Web site opensecrets.org.

On Friday, Alishtari pled not guilty to funding terrorism and other crimes, including financial fraud.

The NRCC is the main political group dedicated to helping the Republican party win seats in the U.S. House of Representatives. Reached Monday morning for comment, an NRCC spokeswoman declined to discuss the matter on the record.

The indictment against Alishtari unsealed in Manhattan federal court Friday charges him with providing material support to terrorists by transferring $152,000 between banks to be used to purchase...

how long do i have to wait before i can visit the dr?

i came off the pill at the beginning of october 2006, since then we have been trying to get pregnant, i know this isnt a very long time to be trying but my cycles are very long, i've only had 3 periods since i stopped my pill, cycle is around 45 - 49 days long. i'm going to use ovulation strips this cycle as i heard long cycles can be caused by not ovulating. if i dont ovulate this cycle do i still have to try for a total of 12 months before seeing the doctor or can i go sooner?

Which one? Karate, Kong fu, Boxing or Samkal(l)a?

I want to go to a self defense class but i don't know which to choose. I don't want to go to a class which teaches only defence but i also like to learn attacking moves. I am a somewhat small guy (in size=about 163-8), thin (58 kg/ about 17 yrs old) and very active (dont think thats got to do anything about it :)).

heres yet anoher tax question tax season is here?

If someone is single no spouse and started a small buisness self employment no employees,and you spend more on equipment and materials for the buisness then you make which causes you to claim a loss that year.Then why dont i get some kind of refund?I was told not 1 cent and ive paid alot of taxes this year buying a house no mortgage,buisness equipment,insurance but no utility bills (not in my name)How is that that i dont quilify for a refund? I went to liberty taxes and they told me that and they wanted 300 to file my taxes with no refund,i'm confused can anyone give me any feed back?
