I was watching House Detectives on HGTV over the weekend and the home inspector recommended one of those overflow valves (don't know what it's called) to prevent contamination from back-flow, from the disposal back into the dishwasher. They said the cost to install it was $275!

I also have a septic system and I was told not to use my garbage disposal anyway, by the inspector that checked out my house when we bought it.

I was thinking about removing the disposal anyway, but I'm wondering if I still need the overflow valve if the dishwasher isn't connected to a garbage disposal.

I am considering an online law degree. I know that they are not ABA approved and not as reputable nor as easy to get a job, but I have an MD already and think this might help balance out the equation. Does anybody attend online law school and what do you think? Also is any one aware which ones are cheapest or best? I know the requirements are the same at all of them. Please advise. Thank you for your help.

I met a guy at a bar and we got attracted to each other. We went on a date and we kept messaging each other. Even after the date, he sent me a text message saying that he had fun and he wants to meet up with me in the weekend on sunday. I text messaged him a day ago, saying that I will have my rehearsal between 4 and 7. Other than that we can meet up any time. No answer. In the break, I called him and left a voice mail if we are still on. No answer until 10ish pm. Then he text messages me saying that "endedn up going to NYC with my roommate, call when I come back." What is this? Did I get stood up? If he calls me what can I tell him. I like him but my sunday totally got blown off. Please some advice. Note" I posted this question in regular singles and dating and I need a response from here too.

My husband and I are ttc. My period is not due for another week, so it's too earlie to test but..... this am at work an older employee can up to me and put her hand on my stomach and asked if I was pregnant. I told her that I didn't think so, but she said she had a feeling that I was. Could she be right? Has anyone ever had something like this happen to them before? Was the person right or not? Just curious. Thanks!

She is in the middle of a "not so friendly" divorce. She has developed quite the "party girl" reputation. She is going to have to deal with a custody battle. She checked into rehab and then.. not much later... checked herself out of rehab.

Do you think she shaved her head to hide any previous drug use from being exposed in court?

Just a theory. What do you think?

My daughter is 7 months old and is chewing on anything and everything. However, she hasn't had any teeth come in yet. She's been doing this for about 3 months now. Is there a certain age that I should be looking for before becoming worried? I won't see her pediatrician again until she is 9 months old. I could always make an appointment if I need to...

As you may know already. I sold my soul (see previous questions asked) to the devil he/she wants there money back.I have two problems with this. The first is the above question, the second is I do not have the money to pay him/her back. As I gave a lot to one of my charities (I don't like to talk about my charity work, at the refuge for young ladies with lose morals) some went on entertaining my nieces. The rest was spent (invested) in that fine Gentlemans club Spearmint Rinos (For the American reader thats like Hooters, but with class) if I do need my soul back, to get in upstairs, can any religous organisations give me the money or indeed, may be a rich American could help.Taken from two of his best selling books: Opium for the masses, and Which is the most gullible race on the planet? Yes, I'm going to take it here. Why is it that I see so many Afr. Am. men with their hair beautifully natural, with twists, locs, cornrows, afros, but Afr. Am. women with natural hair are few and far between? Why do I see and hear so many stories about Afr.Am. women who take so much crap from their men for going natural? Why is it that Afr. Am. women can so lovingly and tenderly grease her man's scalp and cornrow his beautiful kinks and coils, and then turn around and throw the creamy crack into her own hair, and sometimes even her young daughters hair as well? Why do I get weird and crosseyed looks and negative comments from Afr. Am. men, who themselves are sporting a sexy afro or dreads for not having my own hair "done"? Why did it take me 5 years of bickering and argueing with my husband, all the while lovingly maintaining his beautiful coily hair and scalp for him, to convince him that my hair is beautiful natural, and does not need to be straightened? WHY, WHY, WHY????
