My husband and I are ttc. My period is not due for another week, so it's too earlie to test but..... this am at work an older employee can up to me and put her hand on my stomach and asked if I was pregnant. I told her that I didn't think so, but she said she had a feeling that I was. Could she be right? Has anyone ever had something like this happen to them before? Was the person right or not? Just curious. Thanks!

It's very possible.
I know it's morbid but my grandmother has a "psychic" ability when it comes to death. She dreams of 3 weddings and finds out someone close to her has died within a couple days of the final dream, it's happened her entire life. Now she doesn't tell anyone about her dreams as there's too much "unknown" and a lot of people (family included) do not want to know that another loved one is close to death.
I gave my sister a baby rocker/vibrating chair for her older daughter - it was mine with my children and was a piece I told her I'd have to have returned to me if I were to get pregnant again. Nobody in my family knew at that time we were TTC. Her boyfriend said later something along the lines of "In 2 weeks we'll find out she's pregnant" well... it was a little longer then 2 weeks, but sure enough a few weeks later we found out.

Sure she could be right... sometimes you can just get a feeling. My mom worked with this lady who just adored my son (he was a baby) and every time we came in, she wanted to hold him and cuddle him. I asked my mom if they were ttc and the next week, she announced that she just found out she was pregnant! Now, I honestly think that was more of me observing the situation than psychic ability, personally. You may be giving off other "signals" that you would like to start a family soon.
She could also be like my friend who tells everyone that's pregnant that they're having twins- at one point she was right! HA HA HA HA
I have another friend who says that her mom always dreams of her children (including gender) weeks before she even conceives. She said she's always right... I don't know, though..

Oh man.. you just reminded me of my mother in law.. she came to visit and when she hugged me.. she said.. OH.. I smell the baby on you.. and she laughed and said that her mother would do that and then the girl would be pregnant.. and GUESS WHAT.. the next week I found out I was pregnant! I even told her that she better watch her mouth..lol. Well now I am 31wks today.. woo hoo.. 7wks and 2days left to go.

Well if you've told people that you're trying to conceive then the older employee is probably trying to come across as mysterious and all knowing.....know what I mean? but if you haven't told anyone....she's probably just crazy.

did this person know you are ttc ? some people have that sence to know or have those feelings so ya it could be posible .

Not likley. And even if you are, this is probably just a lucky guess. Maybe she is "psychic", maybe not. Who knows.
Personally, anyone putting their hand on my belly, uninvited, gets a slap!

no one can tell if you are pregnant just by putting their hand on your stomach,unless you are several months along. i think the ladyis trying to get info from you.
