I know some people have said they don't think illegals can be trusted because we run away from our problems, but what if you really needed us?

I have an HP desktop computer (with XP on it), and I'm having some issues with it.

Yesterday, it was being very weird -- not letting you click on anything, freezing in the middle of doing nothing. Then all of a sudden, an error popped up on startup, saying the shell32.dll file couldn't be found. After that, Windows won't start, and I can't even get it to start in safe mode without the error coming up.

Is this useless, and is my harddrive irrepairably corrupted? When I called the tech support line, their only suggestion was to re-install Windows, but in any event lose everything I have on there. Help!

That the Liberals blame the President for faulty intelligence that was accumulated over time during the CLINTON Administration . Then, a real boomerang.. . . . .. They claim it'll take years to straighten-out the mess with the intelligence community due to President Bush's Administration .
Well then, according to their own standards, Clinton's Intelligence was flawed, so then it must take YEARS to straighten THAT out .

Can Intelligent People SEE the DOUBLE-STANDARD there ?

I think it's so annoying! Whenever people think that something is ridiculous, they often call it "retarded". When they think that something is uncool, they say that it's so "gay". Not only does it sound foolish, but it's also insulting to both the developmentally disabled and the homosexuals.

My best friend was killed yesterday in an accident. I lost my grandpa and great grandma, but losing a friend is a complete different feeling. I was just wondering who else has ever been in this situation and what helped you to feel better?

The last week he has been waking up every 2 hours. She will let him fuss but will not let him cry for extended periods which I agree with. I don't think babies should be allowed to cry for long periods of time without comforting. She is just confused why all of a sudden he is sleeping worse. He is a big baby weighing 17 lbs already but has also grown 5 inches longer. The doctor told her to start him on cereal and she gives it to him at bedtime. I read somewhere that some babies do better if they do not eat more at bedtime and I wonder if she should give him his cereal earlier in the evening and maybe just a few ounces of formula at bedtime. I also wonder if maybe he could be teething. Any one had the problem with your baby sleeping starting this change of sleep habits?

she is respectful, kind, and gets good grades. She wants this piercing and i know that she is responsibe enough to make her own decision. she is very mature, and knows that i wont allow anything flashy. I would like to know if i should let her get it done. I will also contact her doctor before letting her do this. She is 100 percent sure she wants this.

I have met this guy and have been seeing him on and off for about 3 months. He always rings me when it is convenient for him, and usually when I call him he says he will call me back in an hour but rarely does i.e. he rings back the next day instead. He is a 'businessman' although his phone number is constantly changing, as though he has got alot of enemies. He drives really posh cars as well, again, which he often changes. Also, on Valentines day. he txted me in the morning to say he was coming over with my present, but when he got here he hadnt bought my anything and said he could only stay for an hour. I was gutted, but I tried to hide it. Also, when he was here, he was acting really strangely, i.e. he was irritable and seemed to have a frown on his face for most of the time and kept doodling on a peice of pape. When he left he didnt even give me a kiss or a hug! I felt traumatised when he left. Is he with his girlfriend when I call which is why he cant talk? whats the secret? HELP!

My grandpa used to make wine in big barrels and he wouldn't cover them during fermentation. He'd let them ferment for two weeks and then age them in demi-johns. I make homemade wine by the bottle, so should I put a balloon over the bottles right away for fermentation or not? If it keeps the oxygen out, would I wait to put them on? I started a few bottles last night, and they're uncovered...should I just leave them? Thanks so much!

The funniest part of the article was when the writer talked about incorporating a "3-strikes" rule. For instance, your team would get a strike if they brought their girlfriend to the draft. Or you would get a strike if you said, "I've got a job, and I don't have time to set my lineup everyday!"... and so forth. If you got 3 strikes, you were out of the leaugue. Anyway, does anybody remember this?
