I want to ship a 5-pc set of Noritake china. I actually have 5 sets. So do I need to ship each set separately, or is it okay to ship all of them together?

Wrap and tape each piece with bubble wrap. Place crumpled newspaper in the bottom of the box and sides. Place china in box and fill in spaces with more newspaper.

Wrap separately, and remember to fill cups as well as the ears of cups with paper to keep them from being broken. After you have wrapped each piece individually, wrap the various sets together, i.e. all the plates, all the bowls, and so on. Then wrap the whole set in bubble wrap and place in a slightly over-sized box, then fill box with packing peanuts. Best to place peanuts in the bottom of the box first to keep the wrapped China off the bottom and give it better bounce room and allow the entire mass to float slightly. Do not place bowls up in the wrap, they should always be down, and plates should always be wrapped and stacked within each other. Spoon things together and wrap each set of items to each other and then the whole set together. I know this sounds like overkill, but it may be the best way. Remember also to always insure your valuable items for exact replacement cost before shipping. As long as you keep the items individually wrapped and wrapped together as a group, then all together, there is really no limit to the amount you can ship at one time. Weight permitting. But remember the more weight, the more cost and the higher the chance you will have breakage.

I would use bubble wrap and ship each set separately or you could ship all the plates in one box and cups in another. Shipping all of them together may be to heavy for PO or UPS. Make sure you label boxes in BIG BOLD LETTERS "Fragile".
