It apears that many are very frightened where they live and many have the reasons for it. Those of you living in the EU and USA seem to be more frightened than thos of us that live where people are killed by the hundreds and often. Bombs several times each month and hatred preached by many.
This is how it is here and at the same time I sure am not ready to return to the USA to live. I am more afraid of you people there than I am of the terrorists.

An old couple were sitting in their living room on a Sunday morning watching a religious program.

The preacher on this show would go to all the people in the audience and asking them what they wanted fixed, then he would have them cover the part of their body they wanted fixed.

Many of the people were elderly so they were covering their eyes and hearts. Then the preacher said "Ok now for you at home put your hand on the part of your body you want fixed and say this prayer with me."

So the little old lady put her hand on her heart, because she had a very bad heart. And the little old man put his hands on his crotch.

The little old lady turned to her husband and said "He said he could heal the sick, not raise the dead!"

We have been married for 2 years, and my husband wants desperately to have babies. I on teh other hand, don't want any. I tried to talk to him about it, and he knows that I don't like babies, but still we are having huge crisis about it.

Many people who call themselves "good Christians" take their personal beliefs and use those in deciding which pasages of the Bible to follow and which to ignore. Many of these people look to passages condemning homosexuality, yet they conveniently overlook passages telling them to love others as they would love themselves. This all seems very backwards to me. I think "good Christians" should let the Bible shape their personal beliefs, not allow their personal beliefs to decide for them which passages to follow and which to overlook.

6 mons. ago, my net b/f of over a year moved in with me. We get along great on a superficial kind of level. However, ultimately my intuition tells me not to trust him.

When he first moved in, he was drinking and I caught him flirting with other gals, online. He said it was just "play"....didn't mean anything.

But, what troubles me most is that he rarely wants to be intimate. And, he never gives me more than a light kiss or brief hug. He swears that he loves me, and that he finds me attractive.

He is 51, so I thought that maybe it was a medical problem. But, after a few months of trying to persuade him to go for a check up....he still hasn't went and keeps putting me off.

I ask you....do you think a guy can love you, and never wanna make love with you? I think he just needs a place to squat. He's pretty broke.
